30 июня по новому стилю Русская Зарубежная Церковь чтит память одного из великих святых 20 столетия - святителя Иоанна Максимовича.

On June 30, according to the new style date, the Russian Church Abroad honors the memory of one of the great saints of the 20th century - St. John Maksimovich.

В этот день в г. Бердянске, в храме носящем его имя, состоялась Божественная литургия.

On this day in the city of Berdyansk, Ukraine in the temple bearing his name, the Divine Liturgy took place.

Разделить радость престольного дня вместе с приходом Иоанна Максимовича, прибыли прихожане и настоятель еще одного бердянского храма РПЦЗ во имя мученика Иоанна Воина.

To share the joy of the patronal altar-feast day of the parish, with the parish of St. John Maksimovich, parishioners and their rector, of another Berdyansk church, that of the sister ROCA parish in the name of the Holy Martyr John the Warrior.

После завершения Богослужения священник Олег Николаев (настоятель храма во имя Иоанна Максимовича) и священник Сергий Бегашов (настоятель прихода во имя мученика Иоанна Воина) обратились к своей пастве с краткими проповедями.

After the service, priest Oleg Nikolaev (rector of the church in the name of St. John Maksimovich) and priest Sergiy Begashov (parish priest in the parish church named for the Holy Martyr John the Warrior) turned to their gathered joint flock with brief sermons.

Оба священника отметили важность соборной молитвы, напомнили, пришедшим в храм, интересные и поучительные моменты из жизни архиепископа Иоанна Шанхайского, на примере жития святого пастыря рассказали, как нам - современным христианам, не сбиться с истинного пути спасения.

Both priests noted the importance of their fraternal common prayers, recalling interesting and instructive moments from the life of Archbishop John of Shanghai, who has spiritually come to our temple, and has told us, modern Christians, not to lose the true path of salvation by showing to us the example of his own life, that of the holy pastor.

Подобные совместные богослужения становятся уже доброй традицией в городе Бердянске.

Similar joint worship services [i.e. of the two Berdyansk ROCA sister parishes] have become a good tradition in the city of Berdyansk, Ukraine.

После службы состоялась братская трапеза.

After the service, a fraternal trapeza meal was held.
