On Saturday 24.06 / 7.07-2018, a celebration in honor of the Nativity of the Glorious Prophet and Forerunner of the Lord, Saint John the Baptist, took place at the women's monasteyr, named after the Nativity of St.
John the Baptist, in Peraksora, Loutraki, Greece.
На празднование прибыл Блаженнейший архиепископ Афинский и всея Греции Калиникос,который отслужил Божественную Литургию при участии священства и большого числа верующих.
The celebration was attended by His Beatitude Kallinikos, Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, who served the Divine Liturgy with the participation of his priests and a large number of believers.
В этот праздничный день Блаженнейший архиепископ Калиникос восхвалил "важность женщины", которая стала посредницей между Старым и Новым Заветом, рождением Предтечи Господня Иоанна.
On this festive day, His Beatitude Archbishop Kalinikos, praised the "importance of women", and thatit was a woman who became the mediator between the Old and New Testaments, the mother St. Elizabeth, the mother of The Forerunner of the Lord, John.
По окончании Божественной Литургии старшая сестра монастыря геронтисса Синклитика предложила торжественную трапезу.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the elder sister of the monastery, Gerontissa-(Abbess) Synclytica offered to all, a festive common meal.
В городе Волосе было совершено последование Божественной Литургии в храме в честь Рождества Иоанна Предтечи, которую отслужил уважаемый всеми Преосвященный митрополит Димитриадский Фотий.
In the city of Volos, the Divine Liturgy was followed in the church dedicated to the Nativity of John the Baptist, which was served by Metropolitan Photius of Dimitriadnia, who is revered by all.
