And some wise words that an Orthodox Hegumen once spoke to me, many years ago:
"The Protestants/Heterodox have
.... so little, [of the fullness of the unbroken centuries of the
richness of the Holy Apostolic Christian Faith and doctrines] and yet
they do.... so much.... with it"....[their zeal and enthusiasm, their
missionary work and their charitable efforts] ,......."while,...
We Orthodox... have.... so much, [ of the complete Christian
Faith] and yet we do..... so little..... with it"....[we do so little to
live and to spread our faith, so little missionary work, all too often,
too little works of mercy to our neighbors].
When our Orthodox Christian Faith remains only a part, a department of our
inherited national/ethnic identity, our private cultural possession, or our comfortable private club,
then it has ceased to be alive and vibrant, it is a dead faith, -DEAD TO GOD, & only a matter of observing/attending
external rituals and outward forms, a social gathering for us and our friends....indeed it degenerates into the way of life
of the Pharisees.
But that version of being an Orthodox Christian is not what Christ has called us to be.
Christ has admonished each one of us:...... "If ye love me, keep my commandments!"

I believe that these
ancient persecuted Christian people depicted in this video, are remnants
of the Nestorians, [or perhaps, Monophosites-?] with which our Orthodox
Church
is not in
communion with, as they, plus other ancient heresies, left us many long
centuries ago, over Christological doctrinal differences, plus also,
no doubt cultural ones.
Still, they suffer because they refuse to give up their version of the Christian faith to the Moslems.

In Turkey, a born Moslem
becomes a Christian-his stunning revealing spiritual journey and
testimony, all inspired by him initially searching for answers, [seeking
God] and him then reading our Orthodox Christian
Holy Bible, and God's Holy Spirit working in his heart. Perhaps he will
eventually grow and travel further and become a complete Christian,
an Orthodox Christian, and progress beyond his limited incomplete
Protestant formation, & their faulty vision of The
Historic Orthodox Christian Apostolic Faith-May God grant it!
But all over the Moslem
world, in all Moslem dominated nations, we hear of many many similar
conversion testimonies, [a lot put into you-tube videos] of born Moslems
who encounter Our Lord, and who become His
followers, as best they know how.
