The report of the priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, Anatoly (Rezvot) spoken in the Ukrainian language, on January 10, 2018  caused an uproar & scandal at the meeting of the Zaporozhye diocese. После этого он решил перестать служить этой церкви. After that, Fr. Anatoly decided to stop serving this UOC-MP church. Об этом порталу Depo.Запорожье рассказал сам священник. Сборы проходили в Свято-Покровском кафедральном соборе с участием представителей всех приходов епархии (священников и мирян) и под председательством митрополита Луки. The diocesan meetings were held in the Holy Intercession Cathedral, with the participation of representatives of all parishes of the diocese (priests and laity) and under the chairmanship of Metropolitan Luke. Среди других тем на собрании обсуждали поступки Анатолия, а именно его острые комментарии в соцсетях с критикой пророссийского курса УПЦ МП (в частности в свете скандала после отказа священника этой церкви отпевать "неправильно крещенного" погибшего ребенка). Among other topics at the meeting, Anatoly's actions were discussed, namely his sharp comments on social networks criticizing the pro-Russian course of the UOC-MP (in particular, in light of the scandal after the priest's recent refusal to bury the "wrongly baptized" deceased child). Выразить свою позицию Анатолию не дали - его прервали, потому что начал говорить на украинском языке. Fr. Anatoly was not allowed to express his position - he was interrupted and stopped, because he began to speak in Ukrainian.  "Люди, миряне, сразу закричали: "Говорите на русском". Я им говорю: украинский - мой государственный язык. А потом ко мне подбегает секретарь епархии, говорит: "Ты когда к нам пришел 4 года назад, ты говорил на русском". Говорю ему: "Но после того ваша страна напала на мою страну. { "The people, the  laity, immediately shouted: 'Speak Russian!.' "I tell them: Ukrainian is my official language", and then the secretary of the diocese runs up to me and says: "When you came to us 4 years ago, you spoke Russian." I replied to him:  "But after that, your country attacked my country!" }!!! Люди меняются, я изменился". Они (прихожане - Ред.) кричали, толкались, думал, еще и побьют", - рассказал священник.  People change, I have changed. "They (the attending parishioners) shouted, jostled, and it seemed that they would also beat me" the priest said. После этого он ушел с собрания. After that, he left the meeting. Анатолий добавляет, что теперь твердо решил: продолжать служение в УПЦ МП он не сможет. Fr. Anatoly adds that he has now firmly decided: that  he can not continue serving in the UOC-MP. Я единственный в епархии служил на украинском - полтора года подряд. Один раз я пытался начать проповедь на украинском, другой раз просто говорил ею с людьми в соборе - оба раза настоятель меня за это ругал - мол, тебя здесь никто не поймет", - объясняет мужчина.  "This church is not Ukrainian, it uses the money of Ukraine, requires it, and at the same time, hates it." I In several Ukrainian cities, many  have been  outraged by the actions of the priests of the Moscow Patriarchate: activists carried children's toys into the churches of this confession [the UOC-MP]  in protest.
