Comment: From all of the many photos of our beautiful Bulgarian brothers and sisters praying in their Holy Dormition Cathedral in Sofia, Bulgaria..... we notice their extreme piety in the house of God.
THEY ARE REALLY PRAYING! they actually believe in God!...which is more and more uncommon in our progressive materialistic scientifically-advanced post-Christian, 'West" and they are humble, they show their holy-fear, in the sacred presence of the unspeakable splendor of the Marvelous Almighty God and His Saints and Angels. They are participants in the Glory of God. That is genuine Orthodox Christian worship.
This is reflected in their humble and spiritual faces and indeed, of their body-language, of the bishop and of all of his clergy and altar servers, all, even the little children. Clearly, this piety is not false, but is from their hearts and souls. GOD IS IMPORTANT IN THEIR LIVES!
And, it is their beloved and highly respected dedicated bishop Foti who leads this piety. He sets the example for them all, a true Orthodox Shepherd of his flock.
May God bless and preserve them and may they be an example to all us Orthodox.
