"I went with the throng to the house
of God, with rejoicing!"
These two long videos are but two small portions
of the lengthy 2017 multi-day Transfiguration Festal services at this central Romanian Old Calendar Monastery.
Here we see our ROCA Metropolitan Agafangel, our Archbishop George and our Bishop Anfim, plus our Bp. Roman,
and one other of our ROCA bishops, together with familiar and
beloved GOC Bp. Ambrose of Methone, and members of the GOC Greek
Kallinikos Synod, etc. I do not recognize all of them by name.
Yes, the sermons and other various greetings and presentations, are long! We hear the
clear and loud speaking Romanian head, Metropolitan (or is it,
Archbishop?) Blasius sermonizing at great length in loud Romanian, and
then the shorter Russian words from our
soft-spoken, ROCA Met. Agafangel (translated into Romanian by
our Bp. Anfim), plus the Greek bishop's words, (translated from Greek
into Romanian by Bp. Ambrose) etc.
Of course, needless to say,
the majority of those clergy and laity in attendance, were
Romanians. But some of them do know some Russian, and some also know
some Greek. Both Romanian and Church-Slavonic are in use in parts of the
Romanian church, and in Moldovia.
Later, in his comment under the internetsobor.org posting of one of these videos of this event,
Vladyka Agafangel said that this was his very first visit to
Romania, and he was very happy to see how well our Romanian brothers and
sisters were doing.
Note: On You-tube, on this Romanian Old Calendar channel,
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDT86PjFf-XH8sDFDQTUvJQ there are MORE other VIDEO portions of this same event!.... plus of other events in the life of the Romanian Old Calendar Church.

P.S.
Never before in my life, have I heard as much Romanian chanted or
spoken!....but it is a very interesting 'Latin' language, yet with many
Slavic religious and secular
words in it as well.
