Old-Calendar Churches: Representatives of the ROCA prayed at the Patronal Feast Day in Slatioare, Romania (PHOTOS, VIDEO)
На Престольный
праздник Преображенского монастыря в Слатиоара Румынской Старостильной
Церкви (в котором сейчас около 80-ти насельников) прибыли представители
Русской Православной Церкви Заграницей: Митрополит Агафангел,
Архиепископ Георгий, Епископ Роман и Епископ Анфим, а также игумен
Дамиан и протодиакон Михаил.
Representatives
of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia: Metropolitan
Agafangel, Archbishop George, Bishop Roman and Bishop Anfim, as well
as Hegumen Damian and Protodeacon Michael arrived at the Feast of the
Transfiguration Monastery in Slatioara of the Romanian Old Calendar
Church (now numbering about 80).
Праздничное Богослужение возглавили 17 архиереев, которым сослужили около 70 священников и 9 диаконов.
The celebratory Divine Services were headed by 17 bishops, who were assisted by about 70 priests and 9 deacons.
Служба прошла при
большом стечении народа, в конце Литургии Митрополиты Власий
(Предстоятель Румынской Церкви), Агафангел (РПЦЗ) и Фотий (Греческая
ИПЦ) сказали
проповедь.
The service was held at a large gathering of people, and at
the end of the Liturgy, Metropolitan Vlasy (Primate of the Romanian
Church), Agafangel (ROCA) and Photius (Greek CPI) preached the sermon.
Митрополит
Агафангел передал в дар владыке Власию икону Святителя Филарета,
написанную сёстрами Свято-Иоанновского монастыря специально к этому дню.
Metropolitan Agafangel gave as a gift to Vladyka Vladyka the
icon of St. Philaret, written by the sisters of St. John's Monastery in
Egorovka-Odessa, Ukraine, specially for this day.
Праздник прошёл
торжественно, за общей трапезой была беседа с духовенством, митрополит
Агафангел поделился с присутствующими информацией о нашей Церкви, а
Епископ
Роман рассказал о наших приходах в Святой Земле.
The feast was solemn, and at the common meal, there was a
conversation with the clergy, and Metropolitan Agafangel shared with
them, the present information about our Church's life, and Bishop
Roman spoke about our parishes in
the Holy Land.
Также в ходе визита
представители РПЦЗ и Греческой ИПЦ обсудили ряд касающихся их вопросов и
констатировали единодушие и совпадение взглядов между нами.
Also during the visit, representatives of the ROCA and the
Greek GOC discussed a number of issues concerning them and declared
their mutual unanimity and a coincidence of common our views between
us.
