Comment: 

The current Polish Orthodox Church encompasses not only a certain (unknown in their actual count) — numbers of by-blood-ethnic Poles, (though Poland is of course, mostly very intensily Roman Catholic)  but also large numbers of other Slavic people who now reside in and take refuge in Poland, as many Ukrainians, also self-identified Russians — escaping from Putin’s Russian Federation — (particularly young Russian men who do not want to be conscripted into Putin’s military or to fight and kill other Orthodox people by his orders), and  Little/Carpatho-Russians/”Ruthenians”, and others, and numbers now in 2022, way above… approximately… 7-8 million souls…. some say about 15 milliom…. who by and large reside mostly in Eastern Poland, where they have total toleration and freedom and are materially prospering.  Poland has total religious toleration and freedom of religion, though of course in past times, that was not always the case.

Because of Putin’s continuing to threaten & invade Ukraine, more and more are fleeing to Poland for refuge from him…. and in large numbers.

In their Orthodox worship services, the Polish Orthodox Church  uses in certain parishes, all-Polish, but more often,  in many other parishes, all Church Slavonic, but also mixed liturgical languages of both Polish and Church Slavonic.  As with most Slavic Orthodox people, Church Slavonic — which is what the disciples of St. Cyril and Methodius first brought Christianity to them in, is their born & inherited language of worship and prayer — they all know it quite well.  As far as I know, the MODERN  “Polish Orthodox Church”, was organized & founded originally under Constantinople, but later  became  “autocephalise,” but is obviously  forced by political circumstances, to have some outward subserviance/recognition of… & … to… Moscow…. but on that touchy subject, I do not know the full story… to what exact degree they may be subservient.

In America, large numbers of Ruthenians/Little Russians/Ukranians & other Eastern European regional nationalities, — who when they lived in Europe were persuaded OR rather — forced to be under Rome — i.e. “UNIATES”/”Greek Catholics,” but when they emigrated enmasse to America — mostly before World War I, sizable numbers then left Rome and returned to Orthodoxy, many via the North American Metropolia of The Alaskan — mission of THE… Mother Russian Orthodox Church — lead by various devoted and energetic & saintly Russian missionary bishops & clergy and laity, including (later HOLY Patriarch TIKHON of Moscow — the very last legitimate Orthodox Patriarch of the REAL Russian Orthodox Church) the martyric Holy New Confessor St. Tikhon (Belavin).  But many of these Uniates, in America,  regretfully, have foolishly stayed under Rome…. to this day… among  Rome’s “Eastern Rite Catholics.”

ALMIGHTY GOD! —  TO THAT CLONE OF STALIN, KGB VLADIMIR VLADIMIROVITCH PUTIN, a type of The Anti-Christ, - who apparently delusionarily sees himself as his concept  of  himself being a new but peculiarly  twisted version of an autocratic Old Russian Czar; grant total defeat and shame, in this world and the next, to that tyrannical murderous Satan motivated bloodthirsty power-mad Hitler-like monster….  And STOP his unjustified invasion and destruction of a free & prosperous  Ukraine!!!.. with his destruction also, of the Russian people and nation…  And stop his clear retrograde delusions  of recreating the former dismal and enslaved backward & pagan “Glorious Soviet Union”, coupled with his bigger plans of: destroying America and the Free World, & also seizing/enslaving all of eastern Europe, ..and more or even all of Europe too, if he can manage it, like a new Genghis Khan,  and if no one stops him, before he triggers a world-wide thermonuclear World III, ARMAGEDDON. God grant that someone inside of his own government, may find a way to end this tyrant’s rule, as no voting process can remove him from power.
