It is a collection of interviews with the various participating actors, from all sides,  in those tragic events, in the terrible Greek CIVIL WAR, where brother fought against brother, [and what war is as bad as when the population rises against ITSELF?],  with the Greek words printed, but with a running English verbal translation. Is this historic presentation the final word or account on those tragic times? No. In the west, we...those few of us who even care about this fairly recent human history, tend to overlook [in our common ignorance of those events, post WWII happenings in far away Greece]  -all of the utter confusion of the average Greeks then, most of whom were being manipulated by outside foreign powers, Empires, both from the west and from the communist sphere, and the cruel bloodshed and mass destruction of it, and we only celebrate the final  military and political victory over the communists - the military ending of the communist's attempt to seize Greece, and force it into the soviet orbit. However, this documented presentation gives the larger full complicated story- one which certainly still effects life and thought in Greece even till today. Also, still there are in exile in next-door Albania, many Greek refugees, and their descendants,  from this civil war- ones who ended up on the left-side ....the wrong and loosing side. This takes awhile to view and absorb, but it is an important historical recording that is worth viewing. Once again, it is but one historic page of the universal, never ending sagas of the tragic results of The Human Condition, after the Fall from Grace of our common first created father, Adam. Rd.
