Note: Of course, these filmed presentations show only a very small portion of all of the suffering children of only a sampling of mostly central  or southern  European nations, after  World War II, and they mostly show orphaned children and the rescuing of them, some years after the end of that war, [what year these were taken, I am not sure] when each country, with much international financial and food help from America, and from other  better-off countries, which were able and willing to send aid, was beginning to be organized and better help them.

Nothing in this presentation is depicted of such homeless children's affairs in soviet-Russia, where many many children perished, with their parents, and many orphans were left to fend for themselves.

Also, we hear in this narration, of the beginnings of  the false-hope, of the first years of the steady and speedy communist takeover of much of eastern Europe,

when many were fooled into believing that a new better day had arrived for them, under soviet communism,

which communist regimes were installed with the 'help' of Stalin's  Red Army of course. 
Now, we know better.
