Note:
Of course, these filmed presentations show only a very small portion of
all of the suffering children of only a sampling of mostly
central or southern European nations, after World War II, and they mostly show orphaned children and the rescuing
of them, some years after the end of that war, [what year these were taken, I am not sure]
when each country, with much international financial and food help from America, and from other better-off countries,
which were able and willing to send aid, was beginning to be organized and better help them.
Nothing
in this presentation is depicted of such homeless children's affairs in
soviet-Russia, where many many children perished, with
their parents, and many orphans were left to fend for themselves.
Also, we hear in this narration, of the beginnings of the
false-hope, of the first years of the steady and speedy communist takeover of much of eastern Europe,
when many were fooled into believing that a new better day had arrived for them, under soviet communism,
which communist regimes were installed with the 'help' of Stalin's Red Army of course.
Now, we know better.
