Неделю Крестопоклонную, 11 марта, в Вознесенском приходе
в Фаирфакс, близ Вашингтона, США, божественную Литургию отслужил
Правящий архиерей Нью-Йоркской епархии Митрополит Агафангел в сослужении
настоятеля прихода иерея Андрея Фрика.
On
the Third Sunday of Great Lent, of The Adoration of the Holy Cross, on
March 11, at the Holy Ascension Parish in Fairfax,
Virginia, near Washington D.C, USA, the Divine Liturgy was served by
the Ruling Bishop of the New York ROCA Diocese, Metropolitan Agafangel,
in co-operation with the Rector of the parish, Priest Andrew Frick.
Накануне, на Всенощном бдении после Великого славословия,
владыка совершил чин выноса Креста.
On the eve, at the All-night vigil after the Great Doxology, the Bishop performed the rite of the removal of the Cross.
На
Литургии, на Входе с Евангелием, Митрополит Агафангел
наградил иерея Андрея правом ношения золотого наградного наперстного
креста за усердное служение в приходе и верность святому православию.
At
the Liturgy, at the entrance with the Gospel, Metropolitan Agafangel
conferred upon Priest Andrew the right to wear the golden
accoutred cross for his diligent service in the parish and faithfulness
to Holy Orthodoxy.
Почти все молящиеся за Литургией причастились Святых
Христовых Таин.
Almost all those who prayed at the Liturgy received the Holy Communion of the Holy Mysteries.
После Литургии состоялась трапеза за которой владыка
ответил на вопросы прихожан о жизни нашей Церкви.
After
the Liturgy, a common meal was held, at which the Vladyka Metropolitan
Agafangel answered the questions of the parishioners
about the life of our Church.
