With all the splendor, the Day of the Triumph of Orthodoxy was celebrated in all the churches and monasteries of the Greek GOC on the first Sunday of Great Lent 12 / 25.02 - 2018.

The central place of the Synodal celebration of the Triumph of Orthodoxy, was in the historical church of St. Параскевы в Монастираки, Афины. Paraskeva in Monastiraki, Athens.
Торжественную Литургию возглавил Высокопреосвященнейший архиепископ Афинский и всей Эллады Калиникос при участии Преосвященнейшего митрополита Пирейского и Саламинского Геронтия и Преосвещеннейшего епископа Мефонского Амвросия, которые также присуствовали здесь в этот праздничный день.
The solemn Liturgy was led by His Eminence Archbishop of Athens and All of Greece, Vladyka Kalinikos, with the participation of His Eminence Metropolitan of Piraeus and Salamis, Vladyka Gerontius and also with the Most Reverend Vladyka Bishop Ambrose of Methone, who were also present here on this festive day.

The Orthodox Choir of Byzantine Chanting, under the direction of the music teacher, Mikhail Makrios.
После окончания Божественной Литургии действие продолжилось на улице Плака, где состоялось шествие при участии архиереев, священослужителей, диаконов и молодежи, одетых в традиционную греческую одежду, в сопровождении филармонического оркестра Афинского муниципалетита и при большом стечении православных мирян.
After the end of the Divine Liturgy, the celebration continued on Plaka Street, where a Cross-procession was held with the participation of bishops, clergymen, deacons and youth dressed in traditional Greek clothes, accompanied by the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Athens Municipality and with a large crowd of Orthodox laypeople.
Было произнесено в честь Торжества Православия анафематствование, утвержденное Синодом ИПЦ, на все старинные ереси, а также на современную ересь экуменизма.
It was proclaimed in honor of the Triumph of Orthodoxy, the Anathematizing, which had been approved by the Holy Synod of the GOC, on all ancient heresies, as well as on the modern heresy of Ecumenism.
Вечером тогоже дня состоялся традиционный симпозиум в присуствии большой аудитории в зале Филилогической Ассоциации "Парнас" на площади Карутси в Афинах.
In the evening of the same day, a traditional symposium was held in the presence of a large audience in the hall of the Parnassus Association on the square of Karutsi in Athens.
В начале протоиереем Георгием Контогеоргисом было сделано краткое введение, а затем была представлена первая часть программы Православного Церковного Византийского хора под управлением преподавателя Михаила Макриоса, которе исполняли наиболее известные песнопения: "Пресвятая Троица...", Кондаки Акафистов Господу, "Образу твоему...", псалмы и антифоны Воскресению, Символ Веры, Аполитикос свт.
At the beginning, Archpriest Georgiy Contogeorgis made a brief introduction and then presented the first part of the program of the Orthodox Church Byzantine Choir under the direction of the teacher Mikhail Makrios, which performed the most famous chants: "Holy Trinity ...", Kontakion of Akathist to the Lord, "To Your Image .. . ", Psalms and Antiphons to the Resurrection, The Symbol of Faith, Apoliticus of St. Марку Эфесскому, "Богородице Дева...", "Херувимскую" и другие произведения. Marcus of Ephesus, "Virgin Mary of Virgo ...", "Cherubic" and other works were sung by the choir.

The main speaker was Metropolitan of Piraeus and Salamis, Vladyka Gerontius, who read a brilliant report on the theme: "Orthodoxy in Modern Iconography."
Затем Православный церковный Византийский хор представил вторую часть программы в котороую вошли: "Тебе Бога славим...", иеромонаха Анастасия Катоунакеотоса "Коль славен наш Господь...", произведения великого творца Петроса Ламбардиоса Пелопонесского ( с пением хора на два голоса) стихиры из старинных богословий, Мелхиседека епископа Раидестоса "Великий Боже...", прокимны Петроса Ламбадариса Пелопонеского для баса.
Then the Orthodox Church Byzantine Choir presented the second part of their program which included: "To God We Praise You ...", Hieromonk Anastasia Catouonakeots "If Our Lord is Glorious ...", the works of the great composer Petros Lambardios of Peloponnesus (with the singing of the choir for two voices) from ancient theology, Melchizedek Bishop Raidestos "Great God ...", Petros Lambadaris Peloponesky's prokeimenas for bass.
В четвертой части сессии была проведена раздача почетных наград.
In the fourth part of the session, honorary awards were distributed.
В этом году Священный Синод наградил архимандрита Теолога Апостополуса за пятнадцатилетнее преданное служение Церкви и его очень плодотворной работы, с выпускниками Школы Катехизации, которой в этом году исполнится шестнадцать лет, как заметил Блаженнейший архиепископ Калиникос.
This year the Holy Synod awarded the honour of: "The Archimandrite of the Theologian of the Apostle" for the fifteen-year devotional service to the Church and for his very fruitful work, with the graduates of the School of Catechesis, who this year will be sixteen years old, as His Beatitude Archbishop Kalinikos observed.
В заключение Блаженнейший архиепископ Афинский и Греческий Калиникос вознес свои родительские молитвы за паству и поблагодарил их за присуствие на симпозиуме и интерес к жизни Церкви.
In conclusion, His Beatitude Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Vladyka Archbishop Kalinikos, offered his arch-pastoral prayers for the flock and thanked them for their attendance at the symposium and interest in the life of the Church.
