On the 5th Sunday of Great Lent, in memory of St. Mary of Egypt, Metropolitan Agafangel served in the Ascension Parish in Fairfax, Washington, USA. On Saturday, Vladyka prayed at the All-Night Vigil, and on Sunday, April 2, he officiated the Divine Liturgy co-served by Rector Priest Andrei Frick and Priest George from the TOC of Greece. At the Entrance with the Gospel, Metropolitan Agafangel elevated the rector of the church, Priest Andrei, to the rank of archpriest. After the service there was a meal at whichVladyka answered the parishioners' questions.

В 5-е воскресенье Великого поста, память преподобной Марии Египетской, митрополит Агафангел служил в Вознесенском приходе в Фаирфакс, в Вашингтоне, США. В субботу владыка молился за Всенощным бдением, а в воскресенье, 2 апреля, возглавил Божественную Литургию в сослужении настоятеля иерея Андрея Фрик и священника из ИПЦ Греции иерея Георгия. На Входе с Евангелием митрополит Агафангел возвёл настоятеля храма иерея Андрея в сан протоиерея. После службы была трапеза, на которой владыка ответил на вопросы прихожан.
