It used to be considered our most holy icon in the possession of our old free ROCOR!...a sacred & miraculous relic of old Russian history. I am just wondering when or how this dastardly  'gift' was made, & happened,... if this is the fact. Perhaps, faithful servant of the MP, ROCOR/MP Met. Hilarion-Kapral has merely 'loaned it', to his MP-'mother church'? My hope is that this exact icon mentioned here, may be a copy of the original, and not the original. But............? Rd. But the Championship Games is an event of special international significance.  Поэтому проведение крестного хода благословил митрополит Саранский и Мордовский Зиновий.  Therefore, the 'Cross-procession' [of this icon, being flown over the city, to bless it and the games]  was permitted & blessed by MP-Metropolitan Zinovy of Saransk and Mordovia. Вертолет с иконой облетел все основные объекты Чемпионата мира в Саранске, в первую очередь — грандиозный стадион на 45 тысяч мест «Мордовия Арена». The helicopter with the icon flew all over the main places of the World Championship in Saransk, first of all - which has  a grand stadium with  45 thousand seats, called the  "Mordovia Arena".  Крестный ход длился полчаса.
