В Неделю третию по Пятидесятнице, согласно которому празднуют день Святых Отцов Греции и благочестивого святителя Геронтия Волеутирийского, были именины также у Преосвященного митрополита Геронтия митрополита Пирейского и Саламинского.  In the third week of Pentecost, according to which the day of the Holy Fathers of Greece and the pious prelate St. Gerontius of Voluturi, was celebrated, the Saints-Name-Day of His Eminence Metropolitan Gerontius of Piraeus and Salamis was also celebrated. В субботу 3/16.06-2018 г. он совершил празднование в монастыре Богородицы Флевариотиссы в Антее, Саламинос, при многочисленном участии духовенства и большого стечения паствы, включая и местные органы управления. On Saturday, 3 / 16.06-2018, Metropolitan Gerontius  celebrated the holy day at the Monastery of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Antea, Salaminos, together with the  participation of the numerous attending clergy and with the great confluence of the faithful flock, including members of the  local government. В воскресенье утром 4/17.06-2018 г. была отслужена архиерейская Литургия в Кафедральном соборе Успения Пресвятой Богородицы в Пирее.  On Sunday morning, 4 / 17.06-2018, the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Piraeus was served. Службу возглавил Блаженнейший архиепископ Афинский и всея Греции Каллиникос, при сослужении первоиерарха Пиреи и Саламиноса Геронтия, а также Преосвященных митропотолитов Аттики и Виотии Хризостома и Фессалоникийского Григория, епископа Гардикийского Климента, священства и диаконов. The service was led by His Beatitude, the  Archbishop Kallinikos of Athens and All Greece,  with the co-serving  of the Gerontius First Hierarch of Pireas and Salaminos, and His Grace Chrysostomos, Metropolitan of Attica and Viotia  and Thessalonican Metropolitan Grigori, and Clement, Bishop of Gardicia, with the priests and deacons. В Литургии участвовал хор Кафедрального собора под управлением регента г. Афанасия Иванниди.  In the Divine Liturgy there also participated the choir of the Cathedral under the guidance of the choir master,  Athanasius Ivannidi. Проповедь произнес митрополит Фессалоникийский Григорий, который рассказал о существе праздника этого воскресного дня, а также обратился с благодарностью к Преосвященному Геронтию, пастве и представителям местной власти. The sermon was delivered by Metropolitan Gregory of Thessalonica, who spoke about the essence of the meaning of the feast of this Sunday, and also addressed his gratitude to His Eminence Gerontius, and to the flock and to the representatives of the local authorities.
