ROCOR: The persecution of the MP against our parish in Kazakhstan continues

From our parish in Kazakhstan this year, on the eve of Trinity, the Moscow Patriarchate, with the help of the Kazakh authorities, took away the Church of Peter and Paul, in which our community had prayed for more than 30 years. The temple was taken away without any legal grounds, allegedly because in 1992 it was generally wrong to conclude an agreement with us. Now, in the same manner, the Moscow Patriarchate is trying to terminate the land lease agreement. It is not known for what reason (perhaps because the community is directly subordinate to the Synod of the ROCOR, which is registered in the USA, in the state of New York), but on August 7 the court refused to transfer our plot of land to the MP. Now the land committee has filed a lawsuit to terminate the land lease agreement with us for 48 years. The court hearing is scheduled for December 6, 2023.

We need a professional lawyer in Kazakhstan to protect our rights. We will find out how much his services cost and will raise money to pay for it. We have no other choice.

The Gundyaevites captured (t.me/solidarno strussia/1989) the Church of St. in the village of Oktyabrsky in Kazakhstan. Peter and Paul of our Church Abroad (ROCOR under the omophorion of Metropolitan Agafangel) and expelled the community to the streets. This temple has nothing to do with the Moscow Patriarchate, it has belonged to the community since 1992 and was maintained with the money of the community - those people who were thrown out into the street along with the priest, our leader, Fr. Gennady (Subbotin). This was done with the help of forgery (internetsobor.org/.../...) of documents, which was carried out by the Moscow Patriarchal diocese. The Russian Orthodox Church MP has been engaged in raider seizures of other people's property for many years, which we have written about several times.

Let's demand that the Kazakh authorities intervene in the situation and stop this persecution, and that the Moscow Patriarchate return the temple to its rightful owners - the community. Throughout this year, ROCOR has been under constant pressure from Gundyaev and his superiors. We must protect real Christians.

In your appeal, indicate the address of the parish (Shkolnaya St., 7. Oktyabrsky village, Kostanay district, Kazakhstan) and its affiliation with the ROCOR. Demand that the temple be returned to the community and the persecution stop. If one phone doesn't answer, call another. Write several appeals, call more than once, ask your family and friends to help you, involve other caring people in the problem.
