Во имя Отца и Сына и Святого Духа!
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit!
«Послан был Ангел Гавриил от Бога в город Галилейский, называемый Назарет, к Деве из дома Давидова;
"The angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin from the house of David;
имя же Деве - Мария. to her named the Virgin - Mary.
Ангел, войдя к Ней, сказал: радуйся, благодатная».
And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, favored one.
" Что это за состояние –" благодатное"?
What is this condition -of "grace"?
Это состояние совершенно особое, и может только на примере Божией Матери оно явилось на земле.
This condition is very special and can only be shown us by the example of the Mother of God, it was real and tangible.
В самом деле, возьмите обычных людей.
In fact, take as examples, ordinary people.
Псалтырь прекрасно описывает их состояние - это постоянная борьба.
The Psalms perfectly describes their condition - it is one of a constant struggle.
На человека нападают враги, его искушают различные страсти, но он вопиет к Богу и получает избавление.
Upon
human attacks from enemies, those attacks tempt those attacked to
different passions, but the one attacked cries out to God and he
receives deliverance.
Душа его просветлена и умиротворенна.
His soul then becomes enlightened and peaceful.
Но в любой следующий момент нападение может повториться и борьба возобновляется.
But at any time following the attack, such further attacks could happen again and the fight resume.
«Благодатное»
- есть состояние другое, оно совершенно ничем не тревожимо, оно похоже
на состояние благоухающего цветка, оно полно сил Пресвятого Духа.
"Blessed"
- is the state of the opposite [of grace], it is absolutely a state
which is disturbed by nothing, it resembles the condition of the
fragrant flower, and it is full of the powers of the Sacred Spirit.
Ему удивляется даже сам Архангел, произнесший это приветствие, и Дева Мария.
The archangel surprised even himself, as he uttered his greeting to the Virgin Mary.
Это состояние совершенное, ничем не повреждаемое.
This situation is perfect, as nothing is out of order.
И оно не остается без действия.
And it is not without a responding action.
Архангел предлагает действие, вполне согласное с женской природой Девы Марии.
The Archangel invites a corresponding action, which fully agrees with the feminine nature of the Virgin Mary.
Он говорит Ей, что Она родит Сына и даст Ему имя Иисус, что Он будет велик и наречется Сыном Всевышнего.
He
tells her that she will bear a son and to give him the name Jesus, and
that He shall be great and shall be called the Son of the Most High.
И даст Ему Господь Бог престол Давида, отца Его.
And the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David
. Дева
Мария, после выяснения того, как это будет, когда Она не знает мужа, и
после объяснения Архангела, что это будет сделано силой Духа Святого,
умолкает.
The Virgin
Mary, after trying to comprehend how such could be, when she does
not know her husband, and then the explaining of this by the Archangel,
that this will be accomplished by the Holy Spirit, she becomes silent.
Перед Ней выбор: остаться ли в неизреченном блаженстве благоухающей благодати или пойти на труды деторождения и воспитания.
In
front of her is a choice: whether to stay there, in the ineffable bliss
and the fragrant grace of that event, or to go to the works of
procreation and education.
И Она выбирает послушание «Се, раба Господня: Да будет мне по слову Твоему».
And she chooses obedience: "Behold the handmaid of the Lord: Be it unto me according to thy word."
И тотчас Сын Божий становится Сыном Девы.
And at once, the Son of God became the Son of the Virgin.
Начинается новая история нашего спасения.
Thus begins a new page of our salvation.
Пресвятая Богородица, спаси нас!
