Dan Everiss Sun, Feb 14, 2016 at 4:19 PM This astounding video was just now sent to me, by 'French Orthodox Church' -of the 'Gallican Rite',  Fr. George Young, here in Oregon, USA.. who as you can read, is overjoyed at this making of a new 'bishop' for them, named   'Bishop Benedict'. Among the various  surprising and unpleasant aspects of this Western Rite/'French Gallican Rite'  'episcopal consecration' farce,  in Paris, is the fact that one of the two co-consecrating 'bishops', is ROCiE 'Bishop Kassian', who is under/part of the synod of:  ROCiE 'Archbishop Vladimir Telescheff',...well but one of the various infighting ROCiE spin-off jurisdictions.... the so-called self proclaimed,   'Bishop of San Francisco and Western America' (!).. and his own supposed episcopal consecration was and still is,  utterly bogus and invalid and uncanonical. So one has here: two invalid vagante  uncanonical pseudo-bishops,[ one in western episcopal vestments, the other dressed in a normal Russian bishop's Byzantine attire],  performing some sort of.... consecration ritual and prayers on the head of  a third, also...invalid bogus vagante pseudo-bishop...That equals, 'progress' ...???...FOR WHO or for WHAT??? My question: IF...I...make myself ( consecrate myself), ..... the self-crowned new King of Ethiopia [ or wherever], .... whose to say I am not!? Rd. Daniel in Oregon...lost in wonderment..... by this uncanonical ecclesiastical spectacle, or that anyone could rejoice in it. P.S. Yes, they do have a good choir!...but so does the Vatican and Kyrill Gundaev, two other 'Orthodox' pretenders.
