the darkness of the night, the dawn daylight parishioners gathered in
honor of St. John, in the ancient city of 'China', to meet the feast of
feasts - the Holy Resurrection!
Before
the start of the service, our parishioners brought the pious priest
vestments new, in which he served the Easter service.
That's sung polunochnitsa, moved the shroud to the throne!
Wait. This unfamiliar feeling - before any auspicious occasion of life, before tea joy to welcome visiting! And happy is he to whom it is familiar, who used to take the stairs wonderful worship all of Lent and Holy Week in particular. And near the top of: at midnight, with the first bell stroke on Ivanovo hill, respond to it ringers Prince Vladimir Church, Trinity in Khokhlov ...
Singing "Thy Resurrection O Christ our Savior, the angels sing in heaven ..." merges with the wafting out of the window the ringing of bells. Yes, this is not the procession around the church, but the soul experiences, feels wonderful poem memories and contemplation Sunday of joy.
It jubilant angelic singing, many familiar from childhood - near and dear tune!
Closer, closer, and finally winning Sunday's song is heard in contemporary Christian Upper Room! Just a few minutes - the sign of the cross yawning door, and nothing irrepressible, joins a wave of unspeakable delight.
"Christ is risen" announce and shakes to the very foundations of the sky and the earth, and our long-suffering heart.
- Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death, and those in the tombs bestowing life!
And it's not a dream, not fiction, it is - indeed, more apparent than the one we see with our eyes! Yes, it is - the truth as truth - that for twenty centuries, there is the Church of Christ, which is based on the miracle of the Resurrection!
