O how we all want to believe in miracles! Naturally we are hoping that this vision by Claude Rommel is genuine.
It obviously has created quite a few waves on the Net and over this last month since 27th Feb over a thousand people including intrigued clergy and monastics (so far mainly from Moscow and St Petersburg) have visited this historic cemetery to check things out for themselves!
The asphalt where St John of Kronstadt appeared and stood with the Holy Bible is said to be so warm that the snow that falls on it slowly melts and thus it is continually uncovering and marking this area for all to see. By the way this spot is right in the middle of two crossing paths which form a cross. The two indications that this vision is from God is the shining visible Holy Bible in the hands of the Saint and the fact that he is standing in the centre of a naturally formed cross. We all know that the evil spirits shy away from both the Holy Bible and the Holy Cross!
Nearly everyone today, especially in Russia, is in a state of anxiety and despondency to some degree, because of the ramifications of Covid and the varied climatic and political upheavals. Many are hoping, praying and even expecting God to intervene somehow and help them out of this wretched state.
We believe that maybe St John of Kronstadt has appeared for the purpose of reassuring the Russian people that their country will start to regenerate in the year 2022 (this has been deciphered from the writing on the Icon that formed out of the ice). It is thought that the twelve names depicted (and their corresponding portraits) on this photograph/icon are somehow tied in with the Resurrection of Russia. It is interesting to note that all of these 8 men and 4 women are Monarchists, so we think that there is a direct correlation with the long-standing prophesies that Seraphim of Sarov will be resurrected and a wise & strong Monarch will rule Russia before the end of the world, and will fight against Antichrist and save a lot of souls.
The official Russian MP Church has so far been conspicuously silent on this matter but it is not difficult to assume that they will declare this vision as false! Undoubtably there will be much debate and discussion on the internet as this all slowly unfolds.
We know that Our Lord works in mysterious ways and no-one will be able to stop His mighty works!
If it is authentic and we hope and pray that it is, then it certainly is very good news!
P.S. Unfortunately there does not seem to be anything in the English language so far. There have been several other small miracles in this cemetery since the original appearance.
