I simply share this, what a
friend has shared with me. It can be considered to some degree, as
propaganda, I suppose, yet these photographed scenes and of people,
obviously are true photos. What is not shown, is all of the darker more
unpleasant rural poverty, the destroyed environment from the soviet
industrial era, the many still ruined churches, the terrible prisons,
the military forces invading Ukraine and the parades glorifying Stalin,
etc.
This is more of a
pro-tourism piece. Yet, these current-day photos are still of interest.
No matter what government rules the Russian land, still, it and its
varied people, is a vast land of much natural beauty and interest, of
much history, and of resources,-in all seasons.
Let us pray that one day, Russia will indeed be truly free and prosperous, and peaceful, internally and externally.
