For those who do not know what a 'Yolka' is, [literally, a Fir tree or a 'Christmas Tree'], it is a traditional Christmas party for children, which is a combination of scripted pious readings and carols, all praising Christ's Nativity. It is entirely Christ centered.

Every Orthodox culture, has its own  version of this Nativity celebration.
