"Stalin's death - is a  death of one of the greatest persecutors of the Christian faith in all of  history.  The crimes of Nero, Diocletian, Julian the Apostate, and the others, fade away in the face of his wicked and  terrible deeds.  No one can compete with him in the  number of his victims or of his cruelty to them, nor of his cunning in achieving his goals.  The entirety of satan's  malice [against humanity], seemed wholly embodied in this man, who is even more deserving of the title than the Pharisees, of: 'The Son of the Devil'."
