Putin threatens America with war

America and the West has no
choice now, but to take serious military measures, immediately, to
prepare for an all-out war with Putin's Russian Federation. Putin's
military must be defeated, with his proxy so-called, 'separatist forces'
and driven out of Ukraine, which Putin has immorally and illegally invaded, and NOW! Then and only then, will there be peace in Ukraine.
And then, Putin's criminal government must be forced to make enormous war reparations for all the destruction and murders that they have committed on Ukrainian territory and to Ukrainian citizens.

THE MEETING OF THE LORD
According
to the law of Moses, all Hebrew parents must bring their first born on
the fortieth day after birth to the Temple to be consecrated to God. It
was the custom to bring a sacrifice in thanksgiving to God. The law
was established in remembrance of the exodus of the Hebrews from Egypt -
freedom from slavery, when the first-born Hebrews were spared from
death.
In
fulfillment of this law, the Mother of God with Joseph brought the
infant Jesus to the Temple in Jerusalem, and for their sacrifice brought
two fledgling doves.
At
this time in Jerusalem, there lived an old man by the name of Simeon.
He was a righteous, pious man, and he awaited the coming of the
Messiah. It was foretold to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not
die until he had seen Christ the Lord. Simeon waited for
the fulfillment of the promise of God for a long time. According to
tradition he lived about 300 years. Then, one day, by the inspiration
of the Holy Spirit, he went to the Temple. When Mary with Joseph
brought the infant Jesus, Simeon met the Child, took Him in his arms and
glorifying God said, "Now lettest Thou Thy servant depart in peace, O
Master, according to Thy word, for mine eyes have seen Thy salvation,
which Thou hast prepared before the face of all peoples, a light of
revelation for the Gentiles, and the glory of Thy people Israel."
Simeon called the new-born Lord, "a light to enlighten the Gentiles", that is, all the tribes and nations, and "the glory of Thy people", that is, "Israel." There
are two Israels, the Old Testament and the New Testament one. In the
Old Testament it was the chosen Hebrew people or Israelites, and in the
New Testament - it is the whole Orthodox Christian world.
Joseph
and the Mother of God marvelled at the words of Simeon. Simeon blessed
them, and turning to the Mother of God, he prophesied to Her about the
Child. "Behold, this Child is set for the fall and rising again of many
in Israel; yea, a sword shall pass through Thy own soul, also." That
meant that She Herself would endure profound grief over Her Son, when he
would suffer.
There was in the Temple the pious widow Anna, a
prophetess, eighty-four years a widow, who served God with fasting and
prayers night and day. She recognized the Saviour and coming in that
instant, glorified the Load and spoke of Him to all those in Jerusalem
who awaited the coming to earth of Christ the Saviour.
When they had performed all things according to the Law of the Lord, the Mother of God with the Child and Joseph returned home.
This event, in which Saints Simeon and Anna met in the Temple the infant Christ, presented by the Mother of God and Joseph, and glorified Him, is called the Feast of the Meeting of the Lord, and is celebrated in the Holy Orthodox Church as one of the great feast days on the 2nd of February (February 15th n.s.)
The righteous Simeon is called the God-receiver, that is, he who received in his hands God the Saviour.

Holy New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Land, PRAY TO GOD FOR US ALL!
"The righteous are in everlasting remembrance, from age to age."
We still in this world, cannot possibly know each and every name of all of the Holy New Martyrs, nor indeed of all of the saints of God, who are in Heaven, who witnessed for Christ, as only God knows them all. We are allowed to know only a very small number of their names and about their martyric struggles and translations. May we daily invoke their heavenly aid, with love and with devotion.

But, I must make one major correction to this, otherwise good, article, as this author does not seem to be Orthodox, or...he seems to accept some sort of ecumenist definition of, 'the Church', because:
The Orthodox Church had zero to do with the Roman Catholic Spanish Inquisition. We had no part in that, as our church suffered many centuries of endless Papist persecutions., ..the Crusades being just a small part of that..
It is still an active historical debate among some Orthodox, especially Greeks, as to which enemy did our church and people more harm over the long centuries, Rome/the Latin Schismatics,[ who blessed and sent the Crusaders] .... or Islam.

As a life-long Orthodox Christian, and as a loyal patriotic born American, I am deeply dismayed and deeply angered, as to how many of my fellow Orthodox, those of 'Russian personal self-identity', especially those living here, [ with or without formal American citizenship] in my country, are actually quite sympathetic and loyal to neo-soviet bloody dictator, war-mongering Nazi-like Vladimir Putin, and who believe his enormous propaganda-machine endless lies and distortions, and then justify all the immoral and anti-Christian evils he is conducting,[ the prime examples of which, he is now conducting against Ukraine], while...in their hearts, ..and so foolishly too, even with their mouths!...are openly and publically denigrating this country and being, in truth, disloyal to this country, [ traitors and alien enemy agents here], where they actually live, this country!... which took them in.......and to which they prove that they are utterly ungrateful and unworthy to reside here.
Personally, I wish all of them would LEAVE AMERICA, and soon. Too bad, we ever let them in!

That 2007 deceitful capture and coup of much of the old free diaspora Russian Church Abroad, HEADQUARTERED HERE IN MY AMERICA!, ( which country gave all of those Russian refugees a safe haven), was both a betrayal of real Russian Orthodoxy, genuine Universal Orthodoxy world-wide, and also an act of profound political betrayal of this country.

And too, today, I am a warm compatriot with all 'dissident' anti-Putin and pro-democratic Russians.
