August 10 is the day of commemorating the sacred memory of St. Metropolitan Anthony, the Founding  First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. On this day in Odessa, Ukraine, in the Holy Archangel-Mikhailovsky/St. Michael’s  Church, the liturgical service composed FOR him, was served for the first time.

The Divine Liturgy was officiated by Metropolitan Agafangel, co-served by Archbishop George of Chisinau and Moldavia, as well as by Archpriests Vasily Zaburyanny and Vitaly Morozov, with Protodeacon Mikhail Torba and Deacons Maxim Sheremet and Georgy Kucherenko.

After the service there was a festive common meal.
