CHRIST IS RISEN!
My brief comment: The murderous Bolsheviks and their now, in this coming July 2020- over 100 year old communist-dictatorial successors: and their predecessors to Vladimir Putin (who wants to return Russia to Stalin's vision for it) and his present 'neo-soviet' KGB Kremlin gang, could not erase...over all of these 100 years, as the communist rulers before him, tried to accomplish , the painful national memory of the Last Czar and his Royal family, of their nostalgic, fondness for Old Russia, and the terrible and shameful martyrdom of The Last Czar and his family, so it has now co-opted and publicly supports such deeply held sentiments among many of the common Russians-and others, in their sincere devotion to them. It is beyond question that this common devotion to the Bolshevik-martyred Czar Nicholas II and his family, is very deep and very sincere, among common Russians. Is it also sincere in Putin's governmental apparatus?...among his ruling class? or in his 1943 Stalin founded-captive Moscow Patriarchy? -judge for yourselves.
After all, however, Putin is trying to present himself as a pious Orthodox Christian, (while he bombs and invades Ukraine, Georgia and bombs and kills millions in the Middle-East, etc.,... and as a (sort-of), imaginary and fanciful continuation of the power of Old Russian Czars.
We know from many sources, that this false self-depicted 'pious-Czar-image' of Putin, is not believed as truthful by many Russians.
It is akin to: "Beware of those who decorate the tombs of the martyrs, whom their fathers martyred!"... speaking of Vladimir Putin's words and actions, and of KGB/FSB agent, dressed as a patriarch, "Holy Patriarch Kyrill".
As to the Holy Royal Martyrs: "But the souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them!"-
from the Old Testament Book, in the Orthodox Bible, of The Wisdom of Solomon.

One hundred years ago today, the Romanovs - Tsar Nicholas II, Tsarina Alexandra, and their children, Olga, Tatiana, Maria, Anastasia, and Alexei - were murdered in a basement in Yekaterinburg. For years, the Soviets tried to erase their memory. Helen Rappaport tells us why they failed. #romanov100 For more history interviews & documentaries ...
