28 апреля (по н.с.) Истинно Православная Церковь Греции, которую возглавляет Синод под управлением Архиепископа Афинского и всея Греции Калинника, прославила святого Иоанна Нового Милостивого (+1966), благодатного священнослужителя Греческой Старостильной Церкви, украшенного чудесными знамениями при жизни и после смерти.
April 28 (to current date) The Genuine Orthodox Church of Greece, led by its Synod under the authority of the His Beatitude, Kallinikos, Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, glorified St. John the New Merciful (+1966), a blessed clergyman of the Greek Old Calendar Church, adorned with miraculous signs in his life and after his death.

To participate in these celebrations, ROCA's Metropolitan Agafangel and Protodeacon Michael, who arrived earlier, were joined by the Bishop of Haifa, Vladyka Roman (ROCA) who arrived the night before.
Всего за Божественной Литургией молились 16 архиереев из ИПЦ Греции, ИПЦ Румынии и Русской Зарубежной Церкви.
In all, 16 bishops from the Greek GOC, the Romanian Genuine Orthodox Church, and the Russian Church Abroad prayed together in the Divine Liturgy.
Прославление прошло торжественно и завершилось крестным ходом вокруг всего квартала.
The glorification was very solemn and ended with the outdoor Cross-Procession around the whole quarter.

The sessions of the Synod of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia were held from April 11/24 to April 13/26 2018 in Odessa, at the Synodal Mission.
Present:His Eminence Metropolitan AGAFANGEL (Chairman of the Synod), His Grace GEORGII, Archbishop of Chisinau and Moldavia (Secretary of the Synod), His Grace AFANASSY, Bishop of Vologda and Veliky Ustyug, His Grace KIRILL, Bishop of Voronezh and South Russia, and, by invitation, His Grace ANFIM, Bishop of Basarabia.
Members of the Synod Right Reverend GREGORII, Bishop of Saõ Paulo and South America, and His Grace, NIKON, Bishop of Ishim and Sibiria, took part in the work of the Synod on Skype.
Present:Assistant Secretary of the Synod Protopriest Sergei Begashov.

Listened:To the Chairman regarding the deprivation of the rank of former priest Leonid Plyats.
Resolved:To bring to attention the situation regarding Leonid Georgievich Plyats, who blashemed the Holy Church and its saints, who denied Orthodoxy and left it for the old-believer ritualistic sect, noting that by his actions he trampled on the grace of the Holy Spirit, rejected the Baptism he received, and denied the sacred rank of the priesthood; and, as a result- he placed himself outside of the Church of Christ. The Synod of Bishops also confirms this, thus deciding to expel Leonid Plyats from the sacred rank of priesthood.

Listened:To the Chairman about the Synodal House, and about Mother Agapia's proposal in regards to moving the Synodal House to another address.
Resolved: To express our gratitude to Mother Agapia for her care concerning the fortification of our Church in the United States. At the same time, the issue of the sale of the Synodal House can not currently be put into consideration, as payments continue to be made for it, and an actual parish curretly exists there. In the case that there is no possibility of repaying the loan, we will be forced to return to the discussion of this issue.

We can return to your question only after you have formulated some parishes or communities, and in the case of the continuation of their desire to seek application to join the ROCA, and of their desire to see you as their priest.

Resolved: To refuse the clergyman Melchizedek regarding his request, due to the fact that he avoids official meetings in every possible way that he can, and does not give the opportunity to verify the information he has provided.

Listened: to Bishop Athanasius, reporting on the receipt of questions from our flock regarding the chipping (the use of chips) of the population in the Russian Federation.
We decided to issue the following determination:We call upon our flock to refrain from introducing any electronic devices or chips into their bodies, which are capable to possibly influence the mental or physical state of a person, in order to manipulate and control him, cherishing God's gift of one's own free will and bearing in mind the words of the apostle: "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. " (1 Corinthians 6:19, 20 KJV).

Послание
Архиерейского Синода всем верным чадам Русской Православной Церкви Заграницей
Христос Воскресе!
Собравшись в эти пасхальные дни в богоспасаемом граде Одессе, Архиерейский Синод поздравляет свою паству с Праздником Воскресения Христова! Да укрепит это величайшее событие всех нас на скорбном пути несения истины Христовой посреди современных многочисленных отступлений и апостасии!
Слава Богу, милостию Божией нам открыто как истинное православное вероучение, так и Церковь, содержащая эту истину. Мы имеем всё, что необходимо для спасения, и задача наша заключается в том, чтобы донести эту истину в своих душах и сердцах до Страшного Суда Божия.
Всех нас укрепляет Своей милостью и благодатью Христос, а также молитвы Его Пречистой Матери и святых. Но и мы должны неусыпно и усердно молиться друг за друга в наше лукавое и скорбное время. Церковь Христова одна и едина, и подлинная Церковь должна свидетельствовать миру об истине в том числе и реальным своим единством. Укрепление единства напрямую зависит от каждого члена Церкви, поэтому послужим Христу, укрепляя единство созданной Им Церкви, молясь непрестанно друг за друга, и за всю земную нашу Церковь!
Во исполнение этого чаяние, предлагаем всем нашим приходам включить в сугубую ектению, перед прошением "Еще молимся о плодоносящих …", прошение о укрепление единства Церкви Христовой: "О е́же укрепи́ти еди́нство Це́ркви Твое́й Святе́й, разори́ти го́рдость на́шу и утверди́ти смире́ние и любо́вь, да бу́дем еди́но со Христо́м, я́коже Он еди́н со Отце́м и Ду́хом Святы́м, молим Ти ся, услыши и помилуй".
Да послужит это благое начинание во славу Божию и на пользу Церкви.
Воистину, Воскресе Христос!

Pastoral Epistle
of the Synod of Bishops to all the faithful children of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia
Christ is Risen!
Having gathered together on these Paschal days in the blessed city of Odessa, the Synod of Bishops congratulates its flock with the Feast of the Resurrection of Christ! May this greatest event of all times help to strengthen us on the sorrowful path of the carrying of the truth of Christ, in the midst of the numerous modern departures and apostasy!
Thanks be to God,- by God's mercy, the true Orthodox faith is open to us, as is the Church that contains this truth. We have everything that is necessary for our salvation, and our task consists in bringing this truth into our souls and hearts before the Last Judgment of God.
Christ strengthens all of us through His mercy and grace, as do the prayers of His Most Pure Mother and the Saints. We must vigilantly and diligently pray for each other during these evil and sorrowful times. The Church of Christ is one and universal, and the genuine Church must testify before the world regarding the truth, including the reality of its unity. The fortification of its unity directly depends on each member of the Church. Therefore, we will serve Christ, strengthening the unity of the Church founded by Him, whilst praying ceaselessly for one another, and for our entire Church!
In fulfillment of this hope, we invite all of our parishes to include in the augmented litany, before the petition: "Again we pray for them that bring offerings ...", a petition for the fortification of the unity of the Church of Christ: "For the strengthening of the unity of Thy Holy Church, to destroy our pride and strengthen us in humility and love, that we may be one with Christ, as He is one with the Father and the Holy Spirit, we pray, hearken and have mercy."
May this good deed serve to the glory of God and for the benefit of the Church.
Truly, Christ is risen!

At the invitation of the Primate of the Greek Old Calendar Church, Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Vladyka Kalinnikos; ROCA Vladyka Metropolitan Agafangel, accompanied by Protodeacon Michael Torba, arrived in Athens, Greece, to participate in the glorification of St. John the New Merciful (+1966), a grace-filled priest of the Greek Old Calendar Church, who gave signs of sanctityduring his life and after his death.

The Rite of Glorification is appointed to be celebrated on the Saturday before the Sunday of the Blind Man, on 15/28/04/2018, at the monastery of the Great Martyr Demetrius in Amphiali, Piraeus, Greece, of which monastery St. John was the founder.
