"O our Holy Father among the Saints, Saint John Chrysostom, Archbishop of Constantin0ple, Pray to God for us!"

ON THANKSGIVING

Let us give thanks to God continually. For, it is outrageous that when we enjoy His benefaction to us in deed every single day, we do not acknowledge the favor with so much as a word; and this, when the acknowledgment confers great benefit on us. He does not need anything of ours, but we stand in need of all things from Him.

In point of fact, thanksgiving adds nothing to Him, but it brings us closer to Him. For if, when we recall the benefactions of men, we are the more warmed by affection for them; much more, when we continually bring to mind the benefits of the Master towards us, shall we be more earnest with regard to His commandments.

For this cause Paul also said, Be ye thankful. For the best preservative of any benefaction is the remembrance of the benefaction, and a continual thanksgiving for it.

Wouldest thou learn words of thanksgiving? Hearken unto the Three Children, saying, ‘We have sinned, we have transgressed. Thou art righteous, O Lord, in all that thou hast done unto us, because thou hast brought all things upon us by a true judgment’ (Prayer of Azariah; Book of Daniel LXX). For to confess one’s own sins, this is to give thanks with confessions unto God: a kind of thing which implies one to be guilty of numberless offenses, yet not to have the due penalty exacted. This man most of all is the giver of thanks.

ON HOLY SCRIPTURE

Just as those who are deprived of light cannot walk straight, so also those who do not behold the ray of the Holy Scriptures must necessarily sin, since they walk in the deepest darkness.

The Holy Scriptures lead us to God and open the path to the knowledge of God.

Of all the afflictions that burden the human race, there is not one, whether spiritual or bodily, that cannot be healed by the Holy Scriptures.

Let them hear, as many of us as neglect the reading of the Scriptures, to what harm we are subjecting ourselves, to what poverty.

Now if we are willing to examine the Scriptures in this way, carefully and systematically, we shall be able to obtain our salvation. If we unceasingly are preoccupied with them, we shall learn both correctness of doctrine and an upright way of life.

This is the cause of all evils, the not knowing the Scriptures. We go into battle without arms, and how are we to come off safe?

Just as those who are deprived of light cannot walk straight, so also those who do not behold the ray of the Holy Scriptures must necessarily sin, since they walk in the deepest darkness.

The Holy Scriptures lead us to God and open the path to the knowledge of God.

Note: I do not share this widely, as it sickens and disgusts me. Here in the magnificent San Francisco, 'New-Cathedral', of "Our Lady, Joy of All Who Sorrow",  built by St. John Maximovitch, here!...betrayer to the MP in 2007, of the old ROCOR, ROCOR/MP Archbishop Kyrill-Dmitrieff consecrates a ROCOR/MP bishop for Sacramento, [the state capitol city of California].

His words sound so holy and so Orthodox and so so pious!, and he is wearing such PERFECT beautiful vestments and surrounded by so many PERFECT beautiful icons and holy objects. In that cathedral are the holy relics of St. John.

But so do all the sermons of most of the MP bishops and clergy.. look and sound and SEEM holy.

They all know quite well, what to say, the right prayers in Slavonic or English, to be read,  and how to publically act, in performing the proper Orthodox prayers and rituals, playing their clerical-theatrical  roles, of holy genuine Orthodox clergy, but of which they are.... NOT.

Do these false ones, who indeed do fool many believing trusting pious people,  really imagine that they thus, also.... FOOL GOD?...the All-Seeing and All-Knowing God who sees all of our hearts, and Who does not care at all for outward appearances?
Such are the false soul-killing roles of those Judases serving antichrist and in this massive End-Times world-wide apostasy.

retired Rd. Daniel Everiss, in Oregon, now 73, and  once, till the 2007 betrayal,  a long time and close friend- from his age of 17 or 18, and confidant to San Francisco born, Archbishop Kyrill-Dmitrieff, ( born in 1954,  Boris Michael Dmitrieff).

Now, my old personal friend and later also my bishop, since about 2005, [ who years ago did me many personal favors and who solicited my advice often],  but who  approximately from 2004 onward,  gradually became a  part  of Putin's, neo-soviet  'Russian World', and the KGB run, MP's Sergianism.

Kyrill Dmitrieff thus has betrayed both Orthodoxy and the Russian Church Abroad, and also America, his native land.

He is a shameless 'man-pleaser',  mentioned and condemned in the Gospel.

SHAME on him and on all ROCOR/MP clergy!
May they repent before they die.
GOD SAVE US!

Dear Daniel,

Thought you might like to listen to Archbishop Kyrill’s speech – in English, yet – after the recent consecration of Bishop Irenaeus in San Francisco. It begins about 40 seconds into this video:

Selected Texts

-- If you pray truly, you will receive assurances of many things, and angels will come to you as they came to Daniel, and will enlighten you with understanding of causes, the wherefore of all things.

-- Pray in peace and serenity, sing intelligently and in a good state – and you will be like a young eagle soaring high in the sky.

-- Prayer is an activity becoming to the dignity of the mind, or rather, is its real use.

-- Knowledge is an excellent thing; it helps prayer, inciting the power of the mind to the contemplation of Divine knowledge.

-- If you have not yet received the gift of prayer or psalmody, ask persistently, and you will receive it.

-- Do not wish what concerns you to be as seems (best) to you, but as God wishes; and you will be free from cares and thankful in your prayer.

-- Even if you already appear to be with God, beware the demon of fornication; for it has great fascination and is full of cunning, constantly trying to overcome the transport of your sober mind and to draw it away from God, even when it stands before God with reverence and fear.

-- He who endures distress, will be granted joys; and he who bears with unpleasant things, will not be deprived of the pleasant.

-- You should also know the following subterfuge of the demons: at times they divide themselves into groups. Some come with a temptation; and when you ask for help, others come in the guise of angels and chase away the first, to make you believe that they are true angels, and you fall into vainglory, through having been granted such a thing.

-- As bread is food for the body and virtue is food for the soul, so spiritual prayer is food for the mind.

-- Strive not to pray against  someone in your prayer, lest you destroy what you are building, by making your prayer an abomination (before God).

-- While another God-loving monk was practicing inner prayer, while  walking in the wilderness, two angels appeared and walked along on either side of him. But he never turned his attention to them for a moment, lest he should lose something better, for he remembered the words of the Apostle, neither "angels, no principalities, nor powers . . . shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38, 39).

-- Never desire nor seek to see any face or image during prayer.

-- Blessed is the mind which, praying without distraction, acquires ever greater longing for God.

-- Blessed is the mind which, during prayer, is drawn neither to the material nor to possessions.

-- Blessed is the mind which, during prayer, is insensible to all things.

-- Do not shun poverty and afflictions, these are wings of buoyant prayer.

-- It happens sometimes that the demons suggest some thoughts to you and then urge you to pray against them, to oppose them, and then quickly withdraw to make you fall into delusion, imagining that you have already begun to conquer thoughts and to intimidate the demons.

-- It happens sometimes that in doing good to one man you suffer harm from another, so that, meeting with injustice, you may say or do something unseemly and thus lose what you have gained. This is precisely the aim of the evil demons. So pay intelligent heed to yourself.

-- He who remains in sin and continues to anger God, and who shamelessly strives to understand Divine things and to acquire transubstantial prayer, should remember the warning of the Apostle that it is not without danger for him to pray with head uncovered. In the words of the Apostle, such a soul ought "to have power on his head because of the angels" (I Corinthians 11:10), having clothed itself in modesty and suitable humility for the sake of those present.

-- Just as long and persistent staring at the sun in its noonday brilliance will bring no good to weak eyes, so imagination about the awesome and transubstantial prayer in spirit and in truth will bring no good to a passionate and impure mind. On the contrary, the Godhead will rise against it in wrath.

-- Prayer is to be praised not merely for quantity but also for quality. This is shown by the "two men (who) went up into the temple to pray" (Luke 18:10), and also by the words, "But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions" and so on (Matthew 6:7).

-- When, standing at prayer, you are above all other joy, and know that you have truly attained prayer.

"O Give thanks unto the Lord of Hosts, for He is good, for His mercy endureth forever! ALLELUIA!"

AKATHIST OF THANKSGIVING
Kontakion 1
Everlasting King, Thy will for our salvation is full of power. Thy right arm controls the whole course of human life. We give Thee thanks for all Thy mercies, seen and unseen. For eternal life, for the heavenly joys of the Kingdom which is to be. Grant mercy to us who sing Thy praise, both now and in the time to come. Glory to Thee, O God, unto the ages.
Ikos 1
I was born a weak, defenseless child, but Thine angel spread his wings over my cradle to defend me. From birth until now Thy love has illumined my path, and has wondrously guided me towards the light of eternity; from birth until now the generous gifts of Thy providence have been marvelously showered upon me. I give Thee thanks, with all who have come to know Thee, who call upon Thy name.
Glory to Thee, for calling me into being
Glory to Thee, for showing me the beauty of the universe
Glory to Thee, for spreading out before me heaven and earth like the pages in a book of eternal wisdom
Glory to Thee, for Thine eternity in this fleeting world
Glory to Thee, for Thy mercies, seen and unseen
Glory to Thee, through every sigh of my sorrow
Glory to Thee, for every step of my life’s journey, for every moment of glory
Glory to Thee, O God, unto the ages.
Kontakion 2
O Lord, how lovely it is to be Thy guest. Breezes full of scents; mountains reaching to the skies; waters like boundless mirrors, reflecting the sun’s golden rays and the scudding clouds. All nature murmurs mysteriously, breathing the depth of tenderness. Birds and beasts of the forest bear the imprint of Thy love. Blessed art thou, mother earth, in thy fleeting loveliness, which wakens our yearning for happiness that will last for ever, in the land where, amid beauty that grows not old, the cry rings out: Alleluia!
Ikos 2
Thou hast brought me into life as into an enchanted paradise. We have seen the sky like a chalice of deepest blue, where in the azure heights the birds are singing. We have listened to the soothing murmur of the forest and the melodious music of the streams. We have tasted fruit of fine flavour and the sweet-scented honey. We can live very well on Thine earth. It is a pleasure to be Thy guest.
Glory to Thee, for the Feast Day of life
Glory to Thee, for the perfume of lilies and roses
Glory to Thee, for each different taste of berry and fruit
Glory to Thee, for the sparkling silver of early morning dew
Glory to Thee, for the joy of dawn’s awakening
Glory to Thee, for the new life each day brings
Glory to Thee, O God, unto the ages.
Kontakion 3
It is the Holy Spirit who makes us find joy in each flower, the exquisite scent, the delicate colour, the beauty of the Most High in the tiniest of things. Glory and honour to the Spirit, the Giver of Life, who covers the fields with their carpet of flowers, crowns the harvest with gold, and gives to us the joy of gazing at it with our eyes. O be joyful and sing to Him: Alleluia!
Ikos 3
How glorious art Thou in the springtime, when every creature awakes to new life and joyfully sings Thy praises with a thousand tongues. Thou art the Source of Life, the Destroyer of Death. By the light of the moon, nightingales sing, and the valleys and hills lie like wedding garments, white as snow. All the earth is Thy promised bride awaiting her spotless husband. If the grass of the field is like this, how gloriously shall we be transfigured in the Second Coming after the General Resurrection! How splendid our bodies, how spotless our souls!
Glory to Thee, for bringing from the depth of the earth an endless variety of colours, tastes and scents
Glory to Thee, for the warmth and tenderness of the world of nature
Glory to Thee, for the numberless creatures around us
Glory to Thee, for the depths of Thy wisdom, the whole world a living sign of it
Glory to Thee; as on my knees, I kiss the traces of Thine unseen hand
Glory to Thee, for enlightening us with the clearness of eternal life
Glory to Thee, for the hope of the unutterable, imperishable beauty of immortality
Glory to Thee, O God, unto the ages.
Kontakion 4
How filled with sweetness are those whose thoughts dwell on Thee; how life-giving Thy holy Word. To speak with Thee is more soothing than anointing with oil; sweeter than the honeycomb. To pray to Thee lifts the spirit, refreshes the soul. Where Thou art not, there is only emptiness; hearts are smitten with sadness; nature, and life itself, become sorrowful; where Thou art, the soul is filled with abundance, and its song resounds like a torrent of life: Alleluia!
Ikos 4
When the sun is setting, when quietness falls like the peace of eternal sleep, and the silence of the spent day reigns, then in the splendour of its declining rays, filtering through the clouds, I see Thy dwelling-place: fiery and purple, gold and blue, they speak prophet-like of the ineffable beauty of Thy presence, and call to us in their majesty. We turn to the Father.
Glory to Thee, at the hushed hour of nightfall
Glory to Thee, covering the earth with peace
Glory to Thee, for the last ray of the sun as it sets
Glory to Thee, for sleep’s repose that restores us
Glory to Thee, for Thy goodness even in the time of darkness
When all the world is hidden from our eyes
Glory to Thee, for the prayers offered by a trembling soul
Glory to Thee, for the pledge of our reawakening
On that glorious last day, that day which has no evening
Glory to Thee, O God, unto the ages.
Kontakion 5
The dark storm clouds of life bring no terror to those in whose hearts Thy fire is burning brightly. Outside is the darkness of the whirlwind, the terror and howling of the storm, but in the heart, in the presence of Christ, there is light and peace, silence: Alleluia!
Ikos 5
I see Thine heavens resplendent with stars. How glorious art Thou radiant with light! Eternity watches me by the rays of the distant stars. I am small, insignificant, but the Lord is at my side. Thy right arm guides me wherever I go.
Glory to Thee, for ceaselessly watching over me
Glory to Thee, for the encounters Thou dost arrange for me
Glory to Thee, for the love of parents, for the faithfulness of friends
Glory to Thee, for the humbleness of the animals which serve me
Glory to Thee, for the unforgettable moments of life
Glory to Thee, for the heart’s innocent joy
Glory to Thee, for the joy of living and
for moving and for being able to return Thy love
Glory to Thee, O God, unto the ages.
Kontakion 6
How great and how close art Thou in the powerful track of the storm! How mighty Thy right arm in the blinding flash of the lightning! How awesome Thy majesty! The voice of the Lord fills the fields, it speaks in the rustling of the trees. The voice of the Lord is in the thunder and the downpour. The voice of the Lord is heard above the waters. Praise be to Thee in the roar of mountains ablaze. Thou dost shake the earth like a garment; Thou dost pile up to the sky the waves of the sea. Praise be to Thee, bringing low the pride of man. Thou dost bring from his heart a cry of Penitence: Alleluia!
Ikos 6
When the lightning flash has lit up the dwelling's dining hall, how feeble seems the light from the lamp. Thus dost Thou, like the lightning, unexpectedly light up my heart with flashes of intense joy. After Thy blinding light, how drab, how colourless, how illusory all else seems. My souls clings to Thee.
Glory to Thee, the highest peak of men’s dreaming
Glory to Thee, for our unquenchable thirst for communion with God
Glory to Thee, making us dissatisfied with earthly things
Glory to Thee, turning on us Thine healing rays
Glory to Thee, subduing the power of the spirits of darkness and dooming to death every evil
Glory to Thee, for the signs of Thy presence, for the joy of hearing Thy voice and living in Thy love
Glory to Thee, O God, unto the ages.
Kontakion 7
In the wondrous blending of sounds it is Thy call we hear; in the harmony of many voices, in the sublime beauty of music, in the glory of the works of great composers: Thou leadest us to the threshold of paradise to come, and to the choirs of angels. All true beauty has the power to draw the soul towards Thee, and to make it sing in ecstasy: Alleluia!
Ikos 7
The breath of Thine Holy Spirit inspires artists, poets and scientists. The power of Thy supreme knowledge makes them prophets and interpreters of Thy laws, who reveal the depths of Thy creative wisdom. Their works speak unwittingly of Thee. How great art Thou in Thy creation! How great art Thou in man!
Glory to Thee, showing Thine unsurpassable power in the laws of the universe
Glory to Thee, for all nature is filled with Thy laws
Glory to Thee, for what Thou hast revealed to us in Thy mercy
Glory to Thee, for what Thou hast hidden from us in Thy wisdom
Glory to Thee, for the inventiveness of the human mind
Glory to Thee, for the dignity of man’s labour
Glory to Thee, for the tongues of fire that bring inspiration
Glory to Thee, O God, unto the ages.
Kontakion 8
How near Thou art in the day of sickness. Thou Thyself visitest the sick; Thou Thyself bendest over the sufferer’s bed. His heart speaks to Thee. In the throes of sorrow and suffering Thou bringest peace and unexpected consolation. Thou art the comforter. Thou art the love which watches over and heals us. To Thee we sing the song: Alleluia!
Ikos 8
When in childhood I called upon Thee consciously for the first time, Thou didst hear my prayer, and Thou didst fill my heart with the blessing of peace. At that moment I knew Thy goodness and knew how blessed are those who turn to Thee. I started to call upon Thee night and day; and now even now, I call upon Thy name.
Glory to Thee, for satisfying my desires with good things
Glory to Thee, for watching over me day and night
Glory to Thee, for curing affliction and emptiness with the healing flow of time
Glory to Thee, for no loss is irreparable in Thee, Giver of eternal life to all
Glory to Thee, for making immortal all that is lofty and good
Glory to Thee, for promising us the longed-for meeting with our loved ones who have died
Glory to Thee, O God, unto the ages.
Kontakion 9
Why is it that on a Feast Day the whole of nature mysteriously smiles? Why is it that then a heavenly gladness fills our hearts; a gladness far beyond that of earth and the very air in church and in the altar becomes luminous? It is the breath of Thy gracious love. It is the reflection of the glory of Mount Tabor. Then do heaven and earth sing Thy praise: Alleluia!
Ikos 9
When Thou didst call me to serve my brothers and filled my soul with humility, one of Thy deep, piercing rays shone into my heart; it became luminous, full of light like iron glowing in the furnace. I have seen Thy face, the face of mystery and of unapproachable glory.
Glory to Thee, for transfiguring our lives with deeds of love
Glory to Thee, for making wonderfully Sweet the keeping of Thy commandments
Glory to Thee, for making Thyself known where man shows mercy on his neighbour
Glory to Thee, for sending us failure and misfortune that we may understand the sorrows of others
Glory to Thee, for rewarding us so well for the good we do
Glory to Thee, for welcoming the impulse of our heart’s love
Glory to Thee, for raising to the heights of heaven every act of love in earth and sky
Glory to Thee, O God, unto the ages.
Kontakion 10
No one can put together what has crumbled into dust, but Thou canst restore a conscience turned to ashes. Thou canst restore to its former beauty a soul lost and without hope. With Thee, there is nothing that cannot be redeemed. Thou art love; Thou art Creator and Redeemer. We praise Thee, singing: Alleluia!
Ikos 10
Remember, my God, the fall of Lucifer full of pride, keep me safe with the power of Thy Grace; save me from falling away from Thee. Save me from doubt. Incline my heart to hear Thy mysterious voice every moment of my life. Incline my heart to call upon Thee, present in everything.
Glory to Thee, for every happening, every condition Thy providence has put me in
Glory to Thee, for what Thou speakest to me in my heart
Glory to Thee, for what Thou revealest to me, asleep or awake
Glory to Thee, for scattering our vain imaginations
Glory to Thee, for raising us from the slough of our passions through suffering
Glory to Thee, for curing our pride of heart by humiliation
Glory to Thee, O God, unto the ages.
Kontakion 11
Across the cold chains of the centuries, I feel the warmth of Thy breath, I feel Thy blood pulsing in my veins. Part of time has already gone, but now Thou art the present. I stand by Thy Cross; I was the cause of it. I cast myself down in the dust before it. Here is the triumph of love, the victory of salvation. Here the centuries themselves cannot remain silent, singing Thy praises: Alleluia!
Ikos 11
Blessed are they that will share in the King’s Banquet: but already on earth Thou givest me a foretaste of this blessedness. How many times with Thine own hand hast Thou held out to me Thy Body and Thy Blood, and I, though a miserable sinner, have received this Mystery, and have tasted Thy love, so ineffable, so heavenly.
Glory to Thee, for the unquenchable fire of Thy Grace
Glory to Thee, for building Thy Church, a haven of peace in a tortured world
Glory to Thee, for the life-giving water of Baptism in which we find new birth
Glory to Thee, for restoring to the penitent purity white as the lily
Glory to Thee, for the cup of salvation and the bread of eternal joy
Glory to Thee, for exalting us to the highest heaven
Glory to Thee, O God, unto the ages.
Kontakion 12
How often have I seen the reflection of Thy glory in the faces of the dead. How resplendent they were, with beauty and heavenly joy. How ethereal, how translucent their faces. How triumphant over suffering and death, their felicity and peace. Even in the silence they were calling upon Thee. In the hour of my death, enlighten my soul, too, that it may cry out to Thee: Alleluia!
Ikos 12
What sort of praise can I give Thee? I have never heard the song of the Cherubim, a joy reserved for the spirits above. But I know the praises that nature sings to Thee. In winter, I have beheld how silently in the moonlight the whole earth offers Thee prayer, clad in its white mantle of snow, sparkling like diamonds. I have seen how the rising sun rejoices in Thee, how the song of the birds is a chorus of praise to Thee. I have heard the mysterious mutterings of the forests about Thee, and the winds singing Thy praise as they stir the waters. I have understood how the choirs of stars proclaim Thy glory as they move forever in the depths of infinite space. What is my poor worship! All nature obeys Thee, I do not. Yet while I live, I see Thy love, I long to thank Thee, and call upon Thy name.
Glory to Thee, for giving us light
Glory to Thee, for loving us with love so deep, divine and infinite
Glory to Thee, for blessing us with light, and with the host of angels and saints
Glory to Thee, Father all-holy, promising us a share in Thy Kingdom
Glory to Thee, Holy Spirit, life-giving Sun of the world to come
Glory to Thee, for all things, Holy and most merciful Trinity
Glory to Thee, O God, unto the ages.
Kontakion 13
Life-giving and merciful Trinity, receive my thanksgiving for all Thy goodness. Make us worthy of Thy blessings, so that, when we have brought to fruit the talents Thou hast entrusted to us, we may enter into the joy of our Lord, forever exulting in the shout of victory: Alleluia!
Kontakion 13 is said three times.
Ikos 1
I was born a weak, defenceless child, but Thine angel spread his wings over my cradle to defend me.
Kontakion 1
Everlasting King, Thy will for our salvation is full of power. Thy right arm controls the whole course of human life. We give Thee thanks for all of Thy mercies, seen and unseen. For eternal life, for the heavenly Joys of the Kingdom which is to be. Grant mercy to us who sing Thy praise, both now and in the age to come. Glory to Thee, O God, unto the ages. AMEN.

True nature of the Apocalyptic Communist Beast

Sharing: The true nature of the Apocalyptic Communist Beast, of which atheist rule, current Putin's captive Russia is still not really free of: ST. PATRIARCH TIKHON'S EPISTLE TO THE SOVIET OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMISSARS, Oct. 26, 1918

Because today, we have the End Times spectacle of a fully developed apostate Sergianist subservient false-Russian Church organization, with all of its wonderful churchs and monastery buildings and impressive institutions  and public displays of Orthodoxy, yet  totally controlled and beholden to its KGB masters, to the,  in reality,  ruled and run by the godless, the  neo-soviet and KGB/FSB run 'Russian Federation' State, under 'freely democratically elected',😉 dictator Vladimir Putin. In a way this situation is actually far worse, spiritually, than the first earlier terrible periods of the Bolshevik's bloody tyranny over old Russia, and indeed over their former Soviet Union Empire,  as then it was clearer,  who was on God's side, and who was serving the Devil.
Now, we are told to believe that good is evil, and evil is good.
And who defines and declares such a definition? It is the false patriarch and false hierarchs and other 'ordained and consecrated' clergy of the Stalin founded, totally uncanonical Moscow Patriarchate, all of whom, publically,  bless and support mass-murderer and war-loving  devotee of Joseph Stalin and of the 'good old days' of the official Soviet Union,... 'Orthodox Christian', Vladimir  Vladimirovich Putin, who is well loved [we are told, over and over],  by 'most'  Russians as 'the reviver of Russian National Pride',  and his gangster thieving corrupt  government in the Kremlin,
PRETENDING TO SPEAK..... FOR GOD!~...to tell us, what GOD thinks, and what GOD wants us to do.
Such is the utter mocking of all that is holy, the pure blasphemy of the atheist current rulers of the Russian land, and their false church, their captive and servile Moscow Patriarchate....which most world-wide Orthodox Patriarchates recognize and are in full communion with! That MP and worldly-Orthodoxy betrays our Orthodox Faith in so many many ways.
All, ALL! that dictator Putin does,... as his totally unjustified and profoundly immoral invasion and destructive bloody  war and of his seizing of parts of Ukraine and of his sponsoring civil war there and causing the deaths and suffering and relocations of millions, and also of Putin's horrible bombing of the poor Syrian people, on the behalf of fellow bloody dictator  Assad,...all of this is blessed by 'Patriarch Kyrill' ....pretending to speak..... FOR GOD!
These people prove that what they call, 'God' and claim to represent is actually, Satan, who wishes the totally destruction of our entire human race.
And that 'Russian Mother Church', the MP,  is what so many of our former brothers and sisters and fathers and vladykas of the old free ROCOR, so foolishly, or under threats and duress or for money bribes,  or for the sake of their patriotic and cultural nostalgia for old Russia [the  old historic and Orthodox  Russia,  long ago demolished and systematically eradicated  by the communists], bowed to in 2007, and who still are an obedient slavish  part of. It is labeled: "ROCOR/MP".
Now too, insane power hungry dictator monster  Putin is threatening a nuclear war on the  west, especially on America, as all of us in 'the west', he considers enemies of his Russia.
Yes, he is quite insane!...but so was Hitler, and Lenin and Stalin, and many countless bloody, and empire building  dictators in past human history.
It is the old sour false communist propaganda claim, that all who are not conquered by them are either 'fascists' or  are 'seeking to destroy Russia', etc.
Mr. Putin, a Neanderthal backward caveman creature,  is caught in a fantasy past time-warp, 'The glorious Soviet Union Empire', as the real world has long ago, moved past the former old days of the 'cold war'. Russia's enemies today, are mostly all INSIDE Russia....i.e. its government.
The only real 'enemies of Russia', have been the religion mocking and anti-human, and anti-Russian people!  globalist atheist communists ,... and now their, publically religion supporting, [false] pious,  'Orthodox Christian', successors, headed by KGB officials, V. Putin and his stooge, 'Patriarch Kyril' -Gundaev.
Putin, the mad-man, SHALL use his nuclear arsenal against us, and we shall respond. This is inevitable, IT WILL HAPPEN!
Thus, he will hasten the end of Russia, and of the world as we know it. There is not much time left.
We need to get our souls in order, now, to meet our God, that is all that counts.
But, God is not mocked!
Rd. Daniel

St. Tikhon Epistle to Soviet Commissar 1918
St. Tikhon the Confessor Patriarch of Moscow
Feast Day November 5/18

Metr. [Patriarch] Tikhon’s Epistle to the Soviet of the People’s Commissars, 26 October, 1918:

While you were seizing the power, you asked the people to trust you, and made promises to them.  But have those promises been fulfilled?  You gave a stone instead of a loaf, and a serpent instead of a fish (Mt.7:9-10).  You have substituted a soulless international concept for our Motherland.  You have divided the people into enemy camps and plunged them into a fratricidal war of an unprecedented cruelty.  You have openly replaced Christ's love by hatred; you have not brought peace, you have incited class hatred.  There seems to be no end in sight to the war instigated by you, because with the hands of Russian workers and peasants you are trying to bring about the triumph of a phantom world revolution.  No one feels safe under your regime, where there reigns a constant fear of search, robbery, arrests and exile or execution.  You promise freedom, but there can hardly be anything more painful and cruel than violation of religious freedom.  The press is blasphemous and full of a malicious ridiculing of sacred things.  You have barred the entrance to the Moscow Kremlin – the sacred inheritance of all pious Russians.  We know that our accusations will anger you and cause severe reprisals, that you will use our words as a pretext to accuse us of resisting your government.  But the greater your anger and punitive acts, the more the truth of our accusations will be confirmed.  Mark the anniversary of your rule by liberating those imprisoned by you; by ceasing bloodshed, violence, destruction and oppression of religion.  Otherwise all righteous blood shed by you, shall be required of you (Lk.11:51), and 'you that take the sword shall perish by the sword' (Mt.26:52).

Archpriest Michael Polsky, The New Martyrs of Russia. Montreal: 1972, p. 45. Russian version in Nash sovremennik, no. 4 (1990), pp. 160-162.

On Sorrows
Any sorrow, patiently endured, becomes a step towards perfection.
Happiness is found within ourselves
How mistaken are those people who search for happiness outside of themselves: in foreign countries and travels, in riches and glory, in great possessions and enjoyments, in pleasures and excess, and in empty things, which in the end are bitterness!
To build a tower of happiness outside our own heart is like building a house on a spot that continually suffers earthquakes.
Happiness is found within ourselves, and blessed is he who has realized this.
He who has a pure heart is a beloved child of God
A good conscience is the greatest of all the blessings. It is the price of a peaceful soul and tranquil heart.
Whoever has a pure heart, who does not experience accusations from his own heart, who does good and that which is pleasing and perfect in the eyes of God, who carefully observes the commandments of God, the same has boldness to stand before God. Everything that he asks he receives from God.
He who has a pure heart is a beloved child of God. The Spirit of the Son lives in his heart, and he receives everything he asks for, finds all that he seeks, and doors are opened to him when he knocks.
Not a goal, but a means
Fasting, vigil, and prayer by themselves do not bring the desired fruit, because they are not the purpose of our life, but constitute the means for achieving our goal.
Be attentive to your minor falls
Be attentive to your minor falls. If some sin befalls you from inattentiveness, don’t despair, but pull yourself together and kneel before God Who has the power to raise you up.
Within ourselves we have deeply rooted weaknesses, passions and flaws, many of which are hereditary. All of this cannot be broken with one sharp movement, or a worrisome and difficult experience, but by patience and perseverance.
Don’t lose heart and don’t be afraid
Remember that after temptation follows spiritual joy and that the Lord watches over those who endure temptations and sufferings for the sake of His love. So, don’t lose heart and don’t be afraid.
Entrust all your cares to the Lord: He will take care of you.
Entreat God and don’t lose courage. Don’t think that because your desire is holy, you have the right to complain when your prayers go unheard. God will fulfill your desires in some way you don’t know about. So, calm down and invoke God.
Ask God for love every day
Ask God for love every day. Along with love comes all the many blessings and virtues.
Sanctification abandons the confused and angry heart
Sanctification abandons the confused and angry heart, darkened by hatred for one’s neighbor. Make peace with your brother more quickly, to not deprive yourself of the grace of God, which sanctifies our hearts.
He who is at peace with himself and at peace with his neighbor is at peace with God. Such a person is filled with holiness, because God Himself abides in him.
Don’t impose upon yourself more than you can bear
Don’t impose upon yourself more than you can bear. Remember that God does not bestow His gifts under duress, but when He Himself wants to. Everything He gives you, you receive undeservedly, according to His mercy.
Grace is sent as a gift to those who have been cleansed from the passions
Those who seek Divine gifts and insights, while being immersed in passion, dwell in stupid and proud delusion. Above all it is necessary to work upon cleansing ourselves.
Grace is sent as a gift to those who have been cleansed from the passions. And they receive it quietly and in an hour they don’t know.
