A side note, from other historical accounts: It is recorded in an account of Stalin's life, that a main reason, perhaps the reason, that he, one day out of the blue, ordered this particular, cathedral demolished, a very respected and beloved Moscow landmark church, was that he feared that from it's roof or bell towers, a sniper with a rifle, had an easy & clear shot at his  Kremlin office and his apartment there, and at himself!  Blowing it up, solved that fear.

 We all need to remember too: that all those who committed this and the many many other sacrileges of churches and holy things, all over Russia, including the mass  murder of the millions of believers and clergy, were themselves 'purged' by Stalin, or died in the war, or otherwise have not escaped Divine Punishment, in this world for sure, and in the next also, we must believe.

Comment: This nun's consulting of MP Met. Hilarion (Alfeyev), a for sure, KGB agent himself, in San Francisco, as to whether or not his MP will/could/wants to, force/order!.. the 'autocephalous' OCA to re-instate Jonah, is ...somewhat laughable, if not outright pathetic, actually from many varied camps, including that of OCA supporters of their precious, KGB gfted in 1970, by their tomos of 'autocephaly' (independence!, so called, anyway on paper).

This is from the pro-Jonah-Paffhausen, OCA oriented discussion/argument  blog, of OCA-loyalist George Michalopulos,and is regarding the fresh  controversy around their  currently, on ordered- leave,.... Chicago Bp. Matthias (who has not yet, been proven to have done anything wrong!), and too, it includes Mr. Michalopulos's automatic/endless/not-caring for the facts,  defense of recently, forced to resign, Met. Jonah-Paffhausen ...who has been well documented to have, at least, (no matter if he may have  'meant well' in so doing), mismanaged, many important matters  inside his OCA, while he was it's metropolitan. His wrong-doings/incompetences,  are, in my indepth reading, mostly...well proven, not baseless or personal attacks from simply-malicious people.

So, why read this newest article, about this letter to the OCA administration, etc. of this George Michalopulos, and the sundry informative (if biased!), comments under it-?

Because, it gives us an idea of what is in the confused mind of , at least, some poor members of the OCA.
