UPDATE: Nov. 23, 2020:   Dear beloved fellow Orthodox friends in San Francisco, GLORY TO JESUS CHRIST!  GLORY TO HIM FOREVER! Because of this current daily on-going unfolding of our national calamity, this  chaotic political situation, I am among the many millions in our nation, who are in shock and dismay -- and frankly, very pessimistic for our country's future.  And I know that you must also feel the same -- betrayed. As of today's best and most comprehensive ACCURATE information, it seems (but may events turn around, yet!) that Pres. Trump cannot be re-elected.  The corrupt political system will not allow him to be reelected, though  MOST of us Americans voted for him. AND, that the Left is about to take over the reins of our national government... which to me, indicates the end of our liberties and freedoms... and indeed, of our rapid decline economically too. Why is this happening? Of course there are many root causes which can be identified. First, we have before our eyes, as our central FIRST & MAIN PROOF of this fraud election, are these  past disgusting 4 years worth of DAILY outrageous and totally untrue slanders and personal malicious attacks on our president by the now very leftist and anti-American, corrupt Democrat political machine & by its slavish puppet leftist-captive propaganda news media -- which many DUMB! and totally ignorant & uninformed Americans BLINDLY & UNCRITICALLY/MORONICALLY depend on as their SOLE source for 'news' of what is going on -- of course their biggest first mistake.  They make their decisions upon lies, not upon the true facts.  It seems to be their life-long habit. The world-wide Left will: stop at nothing!... to remove our main defender of our American Constitutional  freedoms: Donald John Trump! And now, we have more than enough 'evidence' for those who seek the truth, of this falsified fake massively rigged election campaign. Clearly, Pres. Trump won this re-election by many millions of legitimate votes! We now cannot depend on 'the courts' or politically biased corrupt judges to give us our true electoral Trump victory, as they too are mostly controlled by leftists and/or are beholden to/captives of the anti-Trump leftist corrupt forces:    (Barack Hussein Obama:-as evidence  is coming out now, being a top and central long-term organizer/puppeteer of the many faceted long orchestrated general BEHIND THE SCENES,  smear campaign against President Trump, and also against our country),... so therefore, even our American justice system is largely corrupt and is rendered unable to give us the truth or to condemn the criminals.  Now we need our justice system to save us, even our Supreme Court, and where are they? In this national crisis, our American justice system is largely on the side of the criminal traitors to our country.  Such a massive stolen  national election as this is proving to be, in third world countries, would normally trigger bloody civil war, with the deaths of thousands. Will we follow that same path? Regardless, I daily add to my other prayers, that God stop these godless and pro-Marxist evil men from taking over our country and pushing us to the left... in favor of our international enemies, (basically, The International Communist Conspiracy), and that Almighty God will stop brain damaged and criminal Biden and his Leftist cohort, from taking power. The Left wants, in the end, the total destruction of our America. President Trump has been stopping them.  But.... as always, all is in God's hands: "Man proposes but God disposes!" Will many or ANY angry patriotic Americans now take up arms, (which weapons many  already possess), and actually physically attack this new leftist Marxist tyrannical regime? - I DO NOT KNOW, but I fear so...…. But regardless of developing DAILY ever-changing current events, you and I need to keep our personal balance and not lose our Christian principals... or go insane... as many others will for sure NOW do. EVERYONE who voted for Pres. Trump & thus for America, has to now be very very angry.... and that means many millions.  We have had our election and our country! ...stolen from us!  I am personally deeply hurt and very angry, and in daily depressed mourning for what seems as the death-throws of my native land and country -- which country was moving forward in these last 4 years, in so many positive directions under Pres. From the moment they imposed measures for the protection of the citizens, many things have been said, particularly by internet channels, creating in the minds of ordinary citizens only confusion because of the opposing views of the people of the so-called scientific community. I will not analyze any of the diametrically opposed views among scientists on the subject of the virus. Anyone interested can refer to the internet for a variety of information and be properly informed. With this absolute fear-mongering, which the media conveys to him who struggles just to earn a living, without leaving him a margin of thought, they direct him to roads where the objectives are fulfilled of people who have not tasted of LIFE Itself (that is, Christ). It goes without saying that we have understood that the coronavirus, especially in Greece, is completely allergic. Allergic to Pascha, allergic to August 15, allergic to December in anticipation of Christ’s Nativity. In the last few days, relative government Ministries have announced to the Greek territory that common prayer of the faithful inside the Holy Temples is not allowed. Specifically, only four people are allowed at the Divine Liturgy, in which the Liturgist and the Chanter are included. And in fact, if there are more inside the Temple, the responsible Liturgist will pay a fine of 1,500 euros. Not only that, but the Christian is not allowed to enter the Temple to pray even outside the Liturgy. These are measures which neither the Ottoman-Turks who had enslaved us for over four hundred years nor the Germans during their Occupation (1941-1944) imposed on us. These unfortunate ones do not know that whenever there were deadly pandemics, everyone united, clergy and laity, they made common vigils and prayers with processions that the evil might flee, which evil always fled if they had faith of heart. Where is that faith today? It has been replaced by the so-called rationalism of the Gadarenes, who, although they knew of Christ’s power to heal their souls and bodies, did not keep Him in their lives; they did not submit to Him the problems of their society to solve them as the only Able One. But rather… they expelled Him! I want to clarify and make it clear that we definitely want to have our health and in no case do we want the coronavirus in our life, nor to become a cause of its transmission. It is very funny, if not provocative when they come out and speak in the media with such passion, malice, and anger against Christians who want to be in common prayer inside the Holy Temples. We assure them that we are committed to the service of the spiritual and physical health of our fellow man because we believe in the love that is called Jesus Christ. By no means do we allow all these who have not tasted LIFE to teach lessons of humanity to true people of love; to conscientious Christians; to those people who are consumed with struggling sacrificially to alleviate the pain and suffering of our fellow man. Have all the problems in our pillaged Greece have been solved? The cannibalistic predators who have reduced it to being handicapped and bloodied? The 350,000 annual abortions of defenseless children? The poisonous fruits and vegetables we buy for our dinner tables, the polluted air we breathe in Western Attica from the refineries, which causes misery in several area hospitals full of patients who have suffered strokes lying on cots, the absence of police against the thieves who loot the hard-earned acquisitions of those who struggle just to earn a living, and so many, so many more? On the other hand, those in charge of our health ensure our protection by consuming the law enforcement agencies in the “policing of the country” with fines and penalties on ordinary citizens who struggle just to earn a living, who were suddenly banned from simple movement. We thank them for the protection they provide, but I have to say that we are now suffocating from such protection. Honestly, we can do without it. And I say this because I feel imprisoned and trapped as a Christian and a Liturgist. On the one hand to tell us “no crowds in the Church, no pilgrimage to the Temples”, and on the other hand popular places, supermarkets, and the means of public transportation are crowded with people. Two measures and two weights. This is not democracy; it is a mockery of democracy, it is also prejudice and discrimination against Christians in a 2,000 year-old Orthodox country which has spread Christianity around the world. Is this why the heroes fought whom next year, in 2021, we will honor as champions of the struggle for freedom during the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Revolution? Of course not. They fought for the Holy Faith of Christ, and for the Freedom of the Homeland. If these heroes lived and saw how they treat the Mother of the Nation: the Orthodox Church today, I believe they would be expelled from the country.  And let no one say that we do not respect the laws. On the contrary, so far we are law-abiding as we should be. But those who treat the Orthodox Christians so disparagingly, with so much irony and unjust behavior, should know that they will eventually write their own unfavorable history in the conscience of the Greek people and the Christians, just like every Nightmare and Judas who for some silver betrayed their Nation and their God. In March of 2016, I wrote that I would likely support Donald Trump because he was the only presidential candidate speaking for working-class Americans. I also viewed the contempt for Trump by the media and elite of both parties as contempt for his supporters as well.

As the campaign wore on, that contempt became an acceptable form of bigotry, as reflected in Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” smear at a fundraiser.

On Election Day, I put aside concerns about whether Trump was ready and voted for him. My hope was that enough people agreed the nation desperately needed a course correction on policies and leadership, and that Trump, despite his background and lack of experience, could rise to the occasion.

Four years later, everything has changed, not all of it for the better. Trump shook Washington to its core and remade the Republican Party, but the nation’s fault lines make the divisions of four years ago seem almost quaint.

One thing that won’t change is my vote. In fact, the 2020 choice is much easier. There are two main reasons why I’m sticking with Trump.

One is because of what he has done, and the other is because of what his opponents have done to sabotage and overthrow him.

First, the primary yardstick of a president is whether he produces peace and prosperity. Trump achieved both until the pandemic sent the economy into recession. Thankfully, the recovery is happening and a vaccine should give it rocket fuel.

Trump’s most admirable trait is that he has kept his key promises. That is remarkable only because voters have too long tolerated politicians who sell one thing and deliver another. For all his flaws, the president has largely delivered what he promised.

From the start, he was a jobs president and his polices benefited workers of every race and income level. His ironclad commitment to job creation was illustrated at last week’s debate, where sharp contrasts with Joe Biden centered on the Democrat’s pledge to raise taxes and “transition away” from oil and gas. Trump correctly called both job killers.

Cutting taxes and regulations, controlling immigration, supporting school choice and nominating qualified, conservative judges and Supreme Court justices are other big things Trump said he would do, and he did. Biden would do the opposite.

On foreign policy, he was true to his word to wind down the longest wars and keep America out of new ones while strengthening the military. He is making historic peace between Israel and Arab states while making clear to Iran it must give up its nuclear and terrorist ambitions or be brought to its knees.

True, some European allies feel neglected, but it’s also true they looked down their noses at Trump’s America First agenda. Though they preferred the apology tours and soft internationalism of Barack Obama, they agreed to Trump’s demand to pay more for NATO.

The most important and difficult Trump initiative is his confrontation with China over lopsided trade deals and its regional aggression. No other president even attempted it. While real progress is being made, a long struggle will be needed to reverse the three decades where China used subterfuge and theft to build its economy, often at the expense of American jobs.

Many voters believe the president wasn’t focused enough on the coronavirus, a belief cemented for some when he and the first lady got infected.

Those voters have a point — up to a point. The virus was a once-in-a-century phenomenon and despite erratic presentations and odd comments, Trump commanded an enormous mobilization of government and industry resources and distributed them with dispatch to the states. The rapid progress on vaccine development is unprecedented.

Any honest score card must also include the disparities in the states’ performances, with governors in New York, New Jersey and elsewhere issuing fatally flawed orders that led to thousands of unnecessary deaths in nursing homes.

In addition, blue states that remain under stringent lockdowns have unemployment rates nearly twice as high as states where GOP governors moved faster to reopen schools and businesses.

Despite Trump’s successes, or because of them, the many forces arrayed against him in 2016 refused to accept his presidency. They did everything they could to end it, and that beyond-the-pale defiance is the second reason why I will vote for him.

The other side must not be rewarded for its efforts to sabotage and remove a duly-elected president.

Russia, Russia, Russia was a scam that ruined lives and put a cloud over the White House for nearly three years. The sequel was partisan impeachment, a clumsy coup attempt orchestrated by Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Trump haters in Congress, the deep state, and the media.

The press corps’ bias of 2016 has morphed into full-blown partisanship on a daily basis at print, digital and broadcast outlets. Facebook, Twitter and other platforms openly use their power to censor pro-Trump news and opinion while promoting anything that makes the president look bad.

It’s not the algorithms; it’s the people behind them.

Their decision to block The Post’s groundbreaking reports on Hunter Biden’s business deals and Joe Biden’s involvement should scare anyone who treasures the First Amendment. To censors, Orwell’s nightmare is their dream.

All fairness has been abandoned in a frenzy to destroy Trump and everything he represents. This culture war extends backward, too.

The destruction of artworks celebrating Christopher Columbus, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and black and white abolitionists reveals a determination to erase America’s founding ideals and replace individual liberty with socialism and identity politics.

The New York Times’ error-ridden 1619 Project, despite repudiation by historians, is nonetheless being adopted by many schools. Biden, in public life for nearly 50 years, falls in line with his party’s radical wing by insisting that “systemic racism” stains the nation, especially law enforcement.

Meanwhile, the spread of political violence and the refusal of many on the left to condemn Antifa and those who burn and loot emboldens a new criminal class of anarchists.

Shamefully, Democrats, the Times, The Washington Post, CNN and broadcast networks defend the unwarranted 2016 spying operation against Trump led by Jim Comey at the FBI, and approved by the Obama-Biden White House. Although the top leaders of the storied agency were removed in disgrace, just one agent has been charged with a crime related to the dirtiest political trick in history.

The outrageous endorsement by the media of the corruption of law enforcement and intelligence for partisan purposes is reason enough to vote for Trump.

I believe much of the nation’s discord can be traced to the Times’ decision to become an activist propaganda sheet to defeat Trump. The most powerful influencer in the country, it has a trickle-down effect on nearly all media institutions.

If The Gray Lady were to return to being a trusted source of news, others would follow and the country could return to more civil debates about our differences.

Thus, the election is not just Trump vs. Biden. It’s also America vs. The New York Times.

Vote for America.

Step by step, God and the Holy Virgin Mary, lead me to Holy Orthodoxy, which after a long catechumenate,  I entered at age 17  in June of 1961 in St. Theodosius of Chernigov, Russian Orthodox Cathedral, in Cleveland, Ohio. Only many years  later in my older adult life, living here in Oregon, when I finally  did my family-history research, did I find out that my ethnic European roots were a combination of English, Polish, German and perhaps "Flemish" ("French speaking Flemish"...called today within modern southern Belgium, "Walloons"). BUT, I AM..... only …..an American!, PERIOD!!!  I am loyal to NO OTHER nation on this earth! My eternal "homeland of my heart's desiring" is Heaven. But all of my life, (as I do still to this day) I paid no attention to my own known or unknown ethnicity-ancestry 'bloodline'  nor that of any others I had contact with, as I only wished to see good in... all!  GOD-CREATED! people-their VIRTUE, not what 'blood' they had- or what nationality is their last name, which meant absolutely nothing to my Christian Bible-based values. In fact, I have always enjoyed associating with people from other lands or races, or languages, etc. It is the spice of life, to me. The Holy Bible, that blessed  collection of sacred writings which was put together and blessed by THE  early Holy Catholic ORTHODOX CHURCH- and which belongs solely to our Orthodox Church, I began to read and absorb from around my age 6. I never had nor do I now have, any!  racial nor nationalistic  prejudices whatsoever. The Good Lord created all mankind in His Holy Image, and I bow to all peoples and races, as Children of God.... 'For whom Christ Died!' And what a boring world this would be, if all of we humans looked alike! ..i.e., God the Creator seems to like an almost endless & exotic marvelous  panoply and diversity, in we humans and in His animals and in His plants, and in the varied terrain & climates of this wondrous planet-which He made by-in-large for us humans, etc. ​"How marvelous are Thy works, O Lord! there is no tongue sufficient to hymn Thy wonders! Thou art the God Who workest wonders!  ALLELUIA!" In fact, this unbelievable diversity is proof that a Supreme Mind -- a PERSON,  created it all. It did not just happen... by accident, or on its own volition.  "In the beginning, GOD CREATED the heavens and the earth...…….!" ​ALLELUIA! But I grew up totally loyal ONLY to this country, my native land, and its democratic ideals, my ONE AND ONLY native land, America, and I was early educated about and a fervent anti-communist. I am a totally dedicated pro-American and pro-Orthodox Christian and an anti-communist for all of my life. Yet, I never imagined that this my native land, was 'perfect,' no!, as I knew too much of biblical and world history. Our unique American experiment has to do with our formation and our Constitution, which: restrains and limits the powers of our government in favor of preserving as much personal freedom to its citizens as possible. Our majority founding fathers, from many nations, fled Europe for just such freedoms, a Europe  where most of them had very little economic or religious or political freedoms, and where they saw no bright future for their children. Most of these Founding Fathers had Christian/Biblically-based  beliefs, if divided into various, mostly Protestant, denominations.  But none of them wanted the standard European model: a one Official State Church -- to which everyone must belong to, etc.  Non-Christians were tolerated, as was freedom of thought and speech.  Each American citizen was to have the full freedom to make his life & economical efforts as best he could, by his own planning and self-work:​"The pursuit of happiness."  The Free Enterprise Economic System Government was to be very limited and controlled by the voting population, with the totally and actually, government ...being kept as SUBSERVIENT to the people. (Marxism claims this, but in fact 'the people' in a Marxist 'paradise' are obedient slaves  to the super-rich all-powerful small oppressive upper ruling class of the all-powerful dictatorial Communist elite, who always have their  police and army's guns aimed at the population to keep them obedient... and 'mental wards' always ready to 'treat' /i.e. torture, those who speak against the progressive/advanced' communist system.  Public anti-governmental demonstrations are met with heavy police clubbings, and then some 'disappear' too.  Vlad Putin's neo-soviet regime, has made this system perfect.) ​America was from its start and still is, A WORK IN PROGRESS.... as no nation in world history has ever been perfect nor... has lasted forever -- but is always timed and at some point, God brings it down. Sad to have to say, but it may turn out that our America is coming to its historical end.  I pray not. At this time, I regret to have to say, that my beloved native earthly country seems to be in its dying end stage. And unlike so many of the younger ignorant and mindless deranged pro-leftist morally depraved post-Christian generation of fellow current Americans, who mostly know NO  ACCURATE HISTORY OF ANYTHING!, ...the Good Lord has blessed me to study and to know world history, & that of the founding freedom-oriented principles, and founded on a firm belief that it is Almighty God Who has blessed and founded this nation, of my America, and thus to know how terribly bad atheist communism (morally/spiritually, mentally and economically and in all ways) is for all mankind.  Next to anti-human Islam, it is the second biggest historic major satanic curse on the entire human race, in all of recorded human world history. Just look and behold what they did to old Russia and the other countries they took over and ruined. But, I need to make this exposition not go on forever: IF our noble and totally truthful and wholly patriotic President Donald John Trump (MAY ALMIGHTY GOD, BLESS AND DEFEND HIM, AND GRANT TOTAL DEFEAT TO ALL OF HIS ENEMIES!) is not re-elected, we will have to have a very bloody civil war here, -with many thousand dying, as we who love our country CANNOT  tolerate a leftist/Marxist takeover of our nation, which will be the end of all of our freedoms, and the destruction of our ​FREE-ENTERPRISE, economic prosperity, of any semblance of freedom for those of us who try to practice our Christian religion, ...and thus I must repeat the old adage: "Better DEAD, than RED!"  I and many other loyal Americans wish that those who live here in our country, (whether they were born here or those who emigrated here) but who hate it and who want us to become communistic, that they should all soon emigrate to current communist nations, and there SEE how well it works in practice.  I recommend that they all go to 'beautiful and prosperous North Korea', where they have zero freedom of speech and where they will be lucky to be able to eat dog meat, or starve to death with the many others there, etc.  There, if they try to protest that government, they will simply be quickly shot, and their organs harvested,  and their mouths shut up forever. Is this what our insane leftists want for America?  It truly seems so. It really does seem, that our insane leftist radicals here, many of whom are drugged up, now rioting and looting and fire-bombing in our cities, -- many funded  & lead by foreign monies, want this for America. To any who read my words here, who live in a country outside my America, I see by the foreign news media, that it is mostly taken over by the world-wide leftist anti-American propaganda machine -- run largely by Red Chinese and the Putin propaganda machine. That seems true for all European nations, Australian news, BBC, etc, etc, etc. You outside my country only get misinformation about what all is happening here, I am sad to observe. MOST of us here, are not leftists and we DO SUPPORT our beloved President Donald John Trump! Foreigners, by-in-large, it seems to me, largely thus do not have the foggiest idea as to what is really going on here ...not in the least. Our major in-America, 'drive-by' FAKE- news media, (TV and the Internet, etc.) is largely controlled by this  same anti-American leftist propaganda machine... and thus it daily spews out garbage and slanders and endless lies, lies, and more lies. Daily, our God-protected President is accused of being THE "Nazi'-Racist" perpetrator of EVERY calamity in America or in the whole world- to the point of disbelieving total laughter. Yet here and in other parts of the world, many poor & misguided and miss-informed people actually believe such absurd slanders and lies, because it is the only information that is fed to them!   As Holy Scripture puts it: "Every man is a liar!" MANY OF US HERE, NO LONGER LISTEN TO NOR WATCH THESE DAILY LIES AND SLANDERS! WE JUST TURN OUR TV'S off! Here, we can only hear the truth of anything connected to our currently INSANE!  & three-ring circus, American politics, from our radios, from our small number of conservative TRUTH-TELLING "talk-show" moderators. Also, if we can watch/hear our President speak, then we KNOW ​HE! is telling us the truth, the full truth as he simply DOES NOT LIE!​ The ones who tell only lies are the leftists! All in the disloyal to America, despicable traitorous Democrat-Marxist Party, only! tell lies after slanderous lies, night and day, every day, and why? BECAUSE they are desperate to keep their hold on their long-held extreme political power and the enormous government monies which they have controlled for so many years now -- i.e. they are utterly CORRUPT POLITICIANS. If Trump is re-elected, they will loose much of this, big-time.  He, to them, is the feared, proverbial  "Bull in the China shop!"  They are struggling to stop him, at any cost, and no matter how many lies and slanders they must publish to ruin him. "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts, absolutely!" IF, President Donald John Trump is not re-elected, America is finished, and rivers of blood will for sure flow, from a full blown civil war. Then too,  if our insane left takes over, no one who tries to practice any form of religion: Christian, Jewish, Moslem, Hindu, etc.  but especially of any Christian variety, will be able to worship freely. Already here, the Democrat controlled state-governors and city-majors are dictatorially closing churches and synagogues and interfering with the practice of religion, WHICH IS FORBIDDEN BY OUR CONSTITUTION!.... using the excuse of stopping the pandemic, etc. And too, these despicable leftist/Marxist Democrat politicians in seats of higher power;-federal, state, and local,  have closed down our economy, thus causing the downfall of our economy and many jobs, destroying families and lives, and pushing people to suicide and violent solutions. But, violent criminal leftist rioters they order our police to stand-by and allow them to burn and rob and kill citizens! That is already a violent leftist ANARCHIST/MARXIST revolution in our cities. Some who read my words here, will now ask me to remove them from my email list. If so, good! I hope to God, that all leftist enemies of my country will soon leave it, and never ever return. Perhaps if they go to Putin's 'democratic' Russian Federation, there Vlad Putin will declare for them some new 'autonomous republic' for "Refugees From American Capitalist Oppression" -- ? ..i.e., The "ORFACO" Republic? We are now in a WAR to save our country, and in war there are casualties, and friendships ended, and enemies made.
