14 / 27.05-2018 at the Holy Trinity Church of Aspropyrgos, Greece, the celebration of the three days of Pentecost and the Holy Spirit began.
Праздничную службу возглавил Преосвященный митрополит Аттики и Виотии Хризостом.
,The holiday service was headed by His Eminence Metropolitan of Attica and Vioti, Chrysostom.
После Торжественной Всенощной последовал крестный ход со Святым Образом Троицы по территории Нкоритсас, возглавленый Преосвященным митрополитом Хризостомом.
After the Vigil service there followed a cross-procession with the Holy Image of the Trinity through the territory of Nkoritsas, headed by His Eminence Metropolitan Chrysostom.
Икону несли молодые люди, облаченныые в историческую одежду и национальные костюмы Понта.
The icon was carried by young people, clothed in historical clothing and national costumes of Pontus.
Далее в процессии шествовали священство и диконство, мэр города Аспропиргоса г. Николас Милетео, заместитель мэра, муниципальные советники, верующие под музыкальное сопровождение оркестра местной филармонии.
Further in the procession of the priests and deacons, was the mayor of Aspropyrgos City, Mayor Nicolas Mileteo, the deputy mayor, municipal councilors, and many believers walked with the musical accompaniment of an orchestra of a local philharmonic society.
В воскресное утро Пятидесятницы была совершена праздничная, Архиерейским чином Божественная Литургия, которую возглавил Преосвященный митрополит Хризостом.
On Sunday morning of Pentecost, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated by the Bishops' Council, headed by His Eminence Metropolitan Chrysostom.
В конце Божественной Литургии была прочитана Вечерня с коленоприклоненными молитвами Пресвятой Троице, потому что в этот день, несмотря на праздник, молитвы должны быть прочитаны православными верующими основываясь на традиции приветствия схождения Святого Духа Утешителя с покаянием, прошением о прощении грехов и духовном просвещении.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Vespers with kneeling prayers of the Most Holy Trinity were read, because on this day, despite the holiday, prayers should be read by Orthodox believers based on the tradition of greeting the convergence of the Holy Spirit The Comforter with repentance, asking for forgiveness of sins and spiritual enlightenment.
Преосвященнейший владыка Хризостом в своей проповеди отметил величие, которое скрывается в простоте человеческой.
His Most Reverend Bishop Chrysostom, in his sermon noted the greatness that lies in the simplicity of man.
Простота является основой и условием сердечного общения человека с Богом.
Simplicity is the basis and condition of a person's heart communication with God.
Благодать Божия упокоевается в душах простых и смиренных людей и совсем не обязательно, чтобы люди были хорошо образованы, обладали властью или могущественностью, умом и знаменитостью.
The grace of God settles down in the souls of simple and humble people and it is not necessary that people are well educated, possessed of power or might, mind and celebrity.
"Дитя человеческое было избрано Богом и было выбрано жертвой на посрамление жестокости мирской, избравшей могущественного Господа на бесчестие".
"The child of man was chosen by God and was chosen as a sacrifice for the shaming of the cruelty of the world, who chose the mighty Lord for dishonor."
Преосвященный владыка продолжил: " Бог вселенной избрал Господа и послал в этот жестокий мир для спасения мира" и далее он добавил "в этот грубый мир, в который Бог был так мудро послан, а мир от него отказался".His Grace continued:
"The God of the universe chose the Lord Jesus and sent him to this cruel world to save the world" and then he added "to this rough world, in which God was so wisely sent, and the world refused Him."
Сложные и изощренные умы, высокий интеллект, предполагаемая мудрость этого мира, власть, собственность, престиж и должность отвергаются как первоочередные критерии выбора.
Complex and sophisticated minds, a high intellect, the supposed wisdom of this world, power, property, prestige and position are rejected as the first choice criteria.
Бог в очередной раз отвергает социальные критерии и выбирает сосудами благодати тех, чьи сердца и ясный ум безошибочно находят пути общения с Ним.
God once again rejects social criteria and chooses the vessels of grace of those whose hearts and clear mind unerringly find ways to communicate with Him.
Бог не отменяет их компетентность, образованность и уважение к ним, но ясно дает понять, что все эти человеческие характеристики не гарантируют никакое "просвещение", если это не сопровождено чистотой сердца.
God does not abolish their competence, education and respect for them, but makes it clear that all these human characteristics are not guaranteed by any "enlightenment" unless it is accompanied by the purity of the heart.
Событие Пятидесятницы означает просвещение, но и так же единство тех, кто верит в силы Господа, а не в свои собственные.
The event of Pentecost means enlightenment, but also the unity of those who believe in the power of the Lord, and not in their own.
Вот почему тайна Пятидесятницы символизирует оптимизм, утешение, не к презираемым бумажкам и верой в них, но для тех, кто считает себя маленькими и незначительными, даже если они являются бедными и малограмотными как и те,которых избрал Христос своими учениками.
That's why the secret of Pentecost symbolizes optimism, comfort, and not as scorning impoverished souls, and but to those having faith in them, as their guides, but to those who consider themselves small and insignificant, even if they are poor and not literate as those whom Christ chose as His disciples.
