The largest Christian denominations of Jerusalem opened for the pilgrims access to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Открывать врата пришли представители греко-православной, армянской и католической церквей, которые сообща управляют Храмом Гроба Господня. Representatives of the Greek Orthodox, Armenian and Catholic Churches, who jointly manage the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, came to open the gates. Таким образом завершилась трехдневная акция протеста против планов мэрии Иерусалима обложить церковное имущество налогом.  Thus ended a three-day protest against the plans of the mayor of Jerusalem to impose a church property tax. Церковники разрешили посещать храм после того, как власти Израиля заявили о готовности начать переговоры об урегулировании спора с приостановкой взыскания налога. The churchmen were allowed to visit the temple after the Israeli authorities announced their readiness to start negotiations on settling the dispute with the suspension of tax collection. Напомним, представители церквей отказались подчиниться требованию муниципалитета Иерусалима об уплате 186 миллионов долларов налога с церковных объектов, приносящих прибыль, – гостиниц (кроме бесплатных домов для паломников), ресторанов, торговли сувенирами и ремесленными изделиями, а также с иных объектов, не являющихся домами для молитвы. Recall that representatives of the churches refused to comply with the requirement of the municipality of Jerusalem: to pay a  $186 million tax bill, from church property sites that generate profits: - hotels (except for free houses of hospitality for pilgrims), restaurants, souvenirs and handicrafts, as well as other property-places that are not houses/churches for prayer.
