GOC related article from Fr. Alexius in the UK

Dear-in-Christ, Everyone, bless!
This morning I received
an email from Bishop Ambrose. Mother Magdalene of the Convent of St
Philothei in Sweden had written to him asking whether there would be a
Holy land pilgrimage
next year, as she knows some people in Sweden interested in going, and
they would like to go on one led by an English-speaker. Being Swedish,
and unused to very warm weather, they would prefer not to go at the
height of Summer.
In reply the Bishop sent
her request onto our Brotherhood, suggesting that as one needs 18-20
people to make a pilgrimage viable, there might be some of our people
here who would like
to make a joint pilgrimage with our people form Sweden.
I realize that many of
you from England joined the pilgrimage last year, but if there are
others that would like to go in 2018, please let me know as soon as
possible, so that I can tell
Bishop Ambrose and Mother Magdalene, and we can see what can be
arranged. There is no need at this stage to fully commit yourselves,
but indications of possible interest and numbers would help us.
