11 in Odessa, in the Diocesan home under the chairmanship of
Metropolitan Agafangel was conducted the Diocesan Assembly of the
Diocese of Odessa
На собрании, согласно Постановлению Архиерейского Синода, обсуждался вопрос о целесообразности созыва Всезарубежного Собора.
At
the meeting, according to the Decree of the Synod of Bishops, the
subject was discussed, regarding the advisability of convening an
All-Diaspora Council.
Присутствовавшие
на собрании клирики констатировали, что жизнь в епархии протекает мирно
и в Одесской епархии нет вопросов, для разрешения которых необходим
Всезарубежный Собор.
Present
at the meeting of the clergy, it was stated that life in the diocese
takes place peacefully and in the Odessa diocese there are no issues to
resolve, that require an All-Diaspora Council.
Всезарубежный
Собор нужен будет в том случае, если на нем будут присутствовать те,
кто требует его созыва и прямо нуждается в его авторитетном решении,
хоть все члены епархиального собрания считают требования этих людей
безосновательными, не конструктивными и противоречащими традиции
Православной Церкви.
An
All-Diaspora Council would be necessary, in the circumstances that it
will be attended by those who request it, and who needs its
authoritative decision, even though all members of the Diocesan Assembly
consider as unfounded, the claims of these [schismatic-rebellious]
people, and that they are not constructive, and that they are rather,
contrary to the traditions of the Orthodox Church.
Но,
если эти люди будут готовы участвовать во Всезарубежном Соборе, то
представители Одесской епархии высказываются за созыв такого Собора.
But
if these people will be ready to participate in such an All-Diaspora
Council, the representatives of the Odessa diocese are in favor of the
convening of the Council
. Присутствующие
на собрании указывают, что законный Всезарубежный Собор может быть
созван только в соответствии с прописанной в Положении о РПЦЗ
процедурой, внести изменения в эту процедуру может только Архиерейский
Собор.
Those present at the meeting indicate that a legitimate All-Diaspora Council may be convened only
in accordance with what rules are prescribed in the Regulations on the
procedure of ROCOR, and to make any changes to this procedure, this can
only be done by the Council of Bishops.
Иным способом созванный Собор не может быть законным и именоваться Всезарубежным Собором.
Any other way. to call together a council, cannot be cited as lawful, nor could it be labeled an 'All-Diaspora Council.'
В
случае если будут принято решение о созыве Всезарубежного Собора,
Епархиальное собрание Одесской епархии избрало своих делегатов на этот
собор, которыми стали протоиереи Сергий Бегашов, Виталий Морозов, иерей
Андрей Трачук, диаконы Михаил Торба и Дионисий Павловский, мирянин
Андрей Парвадов.
In
the case if it is decided to convene an All-Diaspora Council, the
Diocesan Assembly of the Odessa diocese elected their delegates to the
Sobor, which would be: Archpriests Serge Begashov, and Vitaly Morozov,
and Priest Andrei Trachuk, Deacons Michael Torba and Dionysius
Pawlowski, and Andrew Parvadov. a layman.
