Я получил по электронной почте "открытое обращение" от группы людей, которые именуют себя "Предсоборной комиссией 6-го Всезарубежного Собора". Это обращение содержит, наконец, некие предложения, которые изложены, к сожалению, в ультимативной форме, но, сам по себе факт, что они появились, является, конечно, положительным. Здесь же, очевидно, должны были бы быть сформулированы и соответствующие обвинения в мой адрес. Однако, в очередной раз, каких-либо серьезных обвинений я опять не нашёл, кроме спорных утверждений, что я, якобы, "изгоняю раскольников из Церкви" и "не выслушиваю паству" – и это всё, и именно по этой причине, если следовать авторам обращения, учиняется раскол! (неподчинение Архиерейскому Собору и Синоду и сохранение исключительно за собой власти и есть, если не раскол, то, пока ещё, если так больше нравится авторам обращения, парасинагога).
В обращении изложены три требования, в случае исполнения которых обещано раскол не учинять:
1. «Отменить бессудные прещения, наложенные на епископов, клириков и мирян, и ввести практику церковного суда, согласно канонам».
Желательно было бы привести хоть один пример "бессудного прещения" и обосновать, почему прещение "бессудное". Иначе непонятно, о чём идёт речь. Я согласен, что виновен в том, что не сумел достаточно ясно объяснить всем без исключения свои некоторые действия. Но я не могу согласиться с утверждением, что мною, будто, руководит "нежелание услышать свою паству и готовность избавляться от несогласных всеми возможными способами". Мы постановили на Синоде рассмотреть целесообразность созыва Всезарубежного Собора, но раскольники проигнорировали этот призыв и решили созывать свой, якобы, Всезарубежный Собор, причем, не с целью разрешить создавшееся трудное положение, но откровенно с целью раскола, и подписавшиеся под этим, сегодняшним, обращением девять человек, дерзают вызывать шестерых архиереев, опять же, не для обсуждения положения, а для суда над ними, в качестве подсудимых. Церковный Суд в соответствие с канонами у нас был в этом году, но как раз эта группа отказывается признать его обоснованные решения.
2. «Почтительно просим Вас сложить с себя полномочия председателя Архиерейского Собора и Синода, сохраняя митрополичий сан и управление Одесской епархией».
Могу ли я, по требованию девяти человек, к тому же, сорганизовавшихся в парасинагогу, единолично самовольно снимать с себя послушание, которое на меня законно возложено полнотой нашей Церкви? Не явится ли это попранием соборности? Может, и у других членов нашей Церкви также следует спросить? Я понимаю, что законный Всезарубежный или Архиерейский Собор может мне такое предложить и обосновать свое предложение. Тогда это, действительно, должно быть рассмотрено. Без обоснованного и авторитетного мнения полноты Церкви требование раскольников просто несерьёзно. Я писал раньше и могу повторить сейчас, что если с нами пожелает воссоединиться какой-либо исторический "осколок", не нарушивший своего, пусть, хоть бы, внутреннего канонического устройства и согласный с экклесиологией, сформулированной совместно с братскими Старостильными Церквями, то ради устранения препятствия к такому воссоединению, я согласен подать прошение законному Всезарубежному Собору, собранному по этому случаю, о почислении меня на покой. Собор пусть решит, удовлетворить ли моё прошение, почислить меня на покой и выбрать нового Первоиерарха, или оставить устроение нашей Русской Церкви прежним. Это моё предложение остается в силе и сегодня.
3. «Создать три автономных церковных округа: Украинско-Молдавский, Российский, Дальнего Зарубежья. Каждый из них будет управляться своим Синодом».
Митрополичьи округа (правда, без "своего Синода") существовали задолго до образования РПЦЗ и достались нашей Церкви исторически от Поместной Российской Церкви. Они были Русской Зарубежной Церковью упразднены именно из-за того, что являлись источниками раскольнических нестроений (что, в итоге, и привело к образованию ОСА, Евлогиан и присоединению Дальневосточного округа к МП). То есть, отцы РПЦЗ были противниками таких округов, а не их сторонниками. Централизация представляет угрозу там, где существует возможность внешнего влияния на руководство Церкви (как было в СССР и сейчас в РФ), которое проявилось в виде сепаратизма и разрушения Соборного строя Церкви (образование множества "самоуправляемых" обновленческих групп), а затем и искусственной подменой всего руководства Русской Церкви. Группа новых раскольников, по моему мнению, как раз и дает повод для подозрений существования внешнего влияния на неё. Они предлагают мне лично, в обход всей нашей Церкви, изменить сложившийся исторически, действием Духа Святаго, её строй и совершить у нас революцию. Предположим, я поступлю так, как они настаивают – это будет даже не то, что попрание соборности, но, действительно, конец и полный крах РПЦЗ, поскольку большинство не пожелает следовать этим неканоничным действиям и окажется дезориентированным и лишённым своего возглавления: "Ибо написано: поражу пастыря, и рассеются овцы" (Мк 14.27). Единство и соборность Церкви не в том, чтобы из одного Синода сделать три (то есть, из одной РПЦЗ сделать три – такое нашим отцам даже в голову не могло прийти), а в духовном единстве верных, независимо от той местности, в которой они проживают. Именно на разрушение этого духовного единства и направлены предложения раскольников. Я не знаю, кто внушил им, выражаясь словами священномученика Митрополита Кирилла Смирнова, пытаться делать из меня "бомбу, с помощью которой взорвать изнутри Русскую Церковь" (мы знаем, кто Митрополиту Кириллу это предлагал). По примеру священномученика, я не намерен становиться в ряды разрушителей Русской Церкви.
В то же время мы предлагаем рассмотреть возможность организации в США, Южной Америке и Канаде Архиерейского Совещания, которое может, по примеру Совещания российских преосвященных, решить многие вопросы.
Я здесь излагаю только свое личное мнение, не для того, чтобы полностью и с порога отмести все предложения раскольников, но только для того, чтобы показать, что их мнение не есть единственное и безальтернативное. Окончательное суждение по этим вопросам должно быть вынесено Архиерейским Собором.
Руководствуясь словами Апостола Павла:
«Итак заклинаю тебя пред Богом и Господом нашим Иисусом Христом, Который будет судить живых и мертвых в явление Его и Царствие Его: проповедуй слово, настой во время и не во время, обличай, запрещай, увещевай со всяким долготерпением и назиданием. Ибо будет время, когда здравого учения принимать не будут, но по своим прихотям будут избирать себе учителей, которые льстили бы слуху; и от истины отвратят слух и обратятся к басням» (2Тим 4.1-4),
в силу данной мне власти и полномочий, я обращаюсь в очередной раз к замыслившим раскол в нашей Церкви:
Если вы действительно "искренне стремитесь избежать раскола и найти форму церковных отношений, которая наилучшим образом соответствует духу соборности в исторической РПЦЗ", то и следуйте духу соборности исторической РПЦЗ. Не попирайте правил и канонов, установленных отцами специально для избегания расколов и устранения нестроений в Церкви. Пойдите законным каноническим путем. Пусть владыки Андроник и Софроний пребудут на Архиерейский Собор в октябре, чтобы мы имели возможность совместно обсудить сложившееся положение и пути выхода из него. Альтернативы этому нет и быть не может, поскольку это единственный путь, которым предлагают идти в подобных обстоятельствах святые отцы не только РПЦЗ, но и всего православия.

I received an e-mail "open letter" from a group of people who call themselves "the Pre-Council Committee of the 6th All-Diaspora Council." This treatment includes, finally, some suggestions are presented, unfortunately, in the form of an ultimatum, but the mere fact that they were, is certainly positive. Here, obviously, we would have to be formulated and the corresponding charges against me. In the address set out three requirements, in the case of the execution of which promised a split does not commit:
1. "Cancel extrajudicial bans imposed on the bishops, clergy and laity, and to introduce the practice of the ecclesiastical court, according to the canons."

We decided at the Synod to consider the advisability of convening All-Diaspora Council, but dissenters ignored this appeal and decided to convene a supposedly-Diaspora Council, and not with a view to authorize the establishment of a difficult situation, but frankly the purpose of the split, and the signatories of this, today, handling nine people dare to call the six bishops, again, not to discuss the situation, and for their trial, as defendants. Ecclesiastical Court in accordance with the canons, we had this year, but just this group refuses to recognize its decisions.
2. "I respectfully ask you to resign Chairman of the Council of Bishops and Synod, Metropolitan maintaining dignity and control of the Odessa diocese."

The group of new dissenters, in my opinion, just and gives rise to the suspicion of the existence of external influence on it. They offer me personally, bypassing all of the Church, change Historically, the influence of the Holy Spirit, its structure and make our revolution. Suppose I will do as they insist - it is not even the fact that violation of catholicity, but, really, the end and the complete collapse of the ROCOR, as the majority did not wish to follow this uncanonical actions and would be disoriented and deprived of his headed: "For it is written: I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered "(Mark 14.27). The unity and catholicity of the Church is not to one of the Synod to make three (ie, one of the ROCOR to make three - is our fathers even had no idea), but in the spiritual unity of the faithful, regardless of the area in which they live . It is the destruction of the spiritual unity and directed splitters offer. I do not know who inspired them, in the words of the Holy Martyr, Metropolitan Kirill Smirnov, trying to make me a "bomb with which to explode from the inside Russian Church" (we know who to Metropolitan Kirill is offered). Following the example of the Holy Martyr, I do not intend to stand in the ranks of the destroyers of the Russian Church.
At the same time we propose to consider the possibility of organizing in the United States, South America and Canada, the Council of Bishops of the Meeting, which may, for example, the meeting of the Russian bishops, to solve many problems.
I lay out here only my personal opinion, not to completely dismiss out of hand and all the offers of dissenters, but only in order to show that their opinion is not the sole and uncontested. The final judgment on these matters shall be made by the Bishops' Council.
Guided by the words of the Apostle Paul:
"I charge thee therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word; be instant in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when sound doctrine will not, but after their own lusts will heap up to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and turn away their ears from the truth and turn aside to myths "(2 Tim 4.1-4)
by virtue of the power and authority to me, I appeal once again to the idea of a split in our Church:
If you really "earnestly seek to avoid a split, and to find the form of church relations, which best corresponds to the spirit of catholicity in the historical ROCA", then follow the spirit of catholicity historical ROCA. Do not trample the rules and canons, established specifically fathers to avoid splits and eliminate the problems in the Church. Go through the legitimate canonical. Let the Bishop Andronicus Sophrony abide to the Council of Bishops in October, so that we can jointly discuss the situation and ways out of it. There is no alternative, and can not be, because this is the only way in which the offer to go in such circumstances, not only the Fathers of the ROCOR, but also the entire Orthodoxy.
