Процесс выборов состоялся в святом храме Пресвятой Богородицы "Неувядаемый Цвет" в Пирее после Архиерейской Божественной литургии, которую совершил епископ Амвросий Мефонский.   The election process took place in the holy temple of the Holy Virgin "fadeless color"['Unfading Bloom']  in Piraeus, after the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, which was lead by Bishop Ambrose of Mefonsky. Синод возглавил Блаженнейший Архиепископ Афинский и всея Греции Каллиник.   The Synod is headed by His Beatitude, Kallinikos,  the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece. После активного обсуждения состоялись выборы нового митрополита.   After intensive discussion there was held elections for a new Metropolitan.   Голосовало 11 человек.    Voting were  11 people.   За епископа Амвросия Филиппского проголосовало 9 человек, а за епископа Климента Гардикийского - двое.    For Bishop Ambrose of Filippskogo, there  voted 9 people, and for  Bishop Clement of Gardikiyskogo - two.   Поэтому новым митрополитом Восточной Македонии и Фракии был избран Преосвященнейший Амвросий, который произнес краткое слово перед Священным Синодом.   Therefore, as the new Metropolitan of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, there  was elected The Most Reverend Ambrose, who said a few words to the Holy Synod. Митрополия будет располагаться в г. Кавала, а кафедральным храмом будет Благовещенская церковь в Кавале.   This  Archdiocese will be located in the city of Kavala, whose  city-cathedral church is The Church of the Annunciation in Kavala.    Церковь Трех Святителей в Драме будет соборной.   The Church of the Three Hierarchs in Drama, will be his cathedral. Было принято решение об Интронизации нового митрополита, которая состоится 20 июля/ 2 августа 2016 года , в 18.00 часов, в Благовещенском храме г. Кавала.   It was agreed that the enthronement of the new metropolitan, will be held July 20 / August 2, 2016, at 18.00 hours, in the Annunciation Church in Kavala.
