A fascinating article. The author, a Turk, is based in Ankara. She is an expert on Turkey's religious minorities. She has defended Turkey's Jews and Christians in a number of articles and openly state that Turkey is built on the ruins of the Orthodox culture that it ravaged. She identifies herself as being born into Islam. Her views are quite enlightened.
