On Tuesday, July 2nd, in the church of the Great-martyr George the Trophy-bearer of the Resurrection Monastery, after the Hours, the layman Alexander Friptuliak was ordained reader and subdeacon by the Most Reverend George, Archbishop of Kishinev (Chisinau) and Moldova, and at the Divine Liturgy he was ordained to the dignity of deacon. On Thursday, July 4th, at the Divine Liturgy, Deacon Alexander was ordained to the dignity of presbyter. Batiushka will serve in the village of Pohrebea, Dubasari District, Republic of Moldova.
